I know that it's my second day at work but I had to call in sick. After what I heard from Londiwe, I can't even move right now.

I've been in bed since yesterday, thinking of how this affects me and the love that I have for Mduduzi.

Me: Look, I'm tired and irritated, I can't talk now.

Monde💘: Oh so you did dump him?

I wasn't going to go out with him. I am not in the mood for a chitchat. All I want is chocolate icecream, wine and a heartbreaking movie.

I checked the caller ID and it's Uzula, the security guard.

Uzula: I know you said you don't want any visitors at your place but someone is here to see you.

Me: Who?

Uzula: She says her name is Modiehi.

Me: Modiehi?

Modiehi: Hello, Lerato, are you still there?

Me: Hi.

Modiehi: Please open for me. It's me your cousin. Please tell your security guard to let me in. 

Me: Okay.

Uzula: Ndimavulele lona? {Should I open for her?}

Me: Yes Uzula, open for her. Thank you.

(Hangs up)

Modiehi is my mom's niece. She moved to Cape Town with her husband when she was  nineteen years.

I was shocked to know that she is here. How did she know that I was here?

I put on my gown and went downstairs to go wait for her.
