AT MDUDUZI'S HOUSE
IN THE KITCHEN
06:00

I woke up to prepare breakfast for the whole family since everyone was here.

Honestly, I woke up early because my body hurt from sleeping on the king's bed with my husband and his wife.

IN THE DINING ROOM

I set the table with the help of Dumazile, she saw how swollen my feet were. Considering the fact that I'm pregnant, I had to take a few breaks during the cooking process.

Madame came downstairs and sat in the lounge, she was followed by Sasa and Thandi.

I put the juice on the table.

Madame: My son chose well, when last did Londiwe wake up in the morning?

I just smiled and walked upstairs to go wake husband and wife up.

IN LERATO'S BEDROOM

I walked in the room and they were cuddling with their children, Paris, Princess and Zweli.

Me: I came here to tell you that breakfast is ready.

Londiwe: Thanks, let's go guys.

We all headed downstairs for breakfast.

IN THE DINING ROOM

We sat down and said grace before digging in.

Madame: You finally woke up, Londiwe.

Londiwe: Morning Ma.

Sasa: (sips her juice) This tastes good, sis Lerato.

Me: Thanks.

Madame: Who taught you how to cook?

Me: My mother.

Madame: She taught you well.

Londiwe: There's one thing she didn't teach her, to stay away from married men.

Madame: And your mother never taught you shut up.

Mdu: Ma..

Madame: Anyway, Lerato, what do you do for a living?

Me: I am a Personal Assistant at Zulu and associates.

Madame: Oh, you work with Themba?

Me: (Sips her juice) Yes, actually, I'm his assistant.

Madame: Oh wow, every woman would die to work for him.

Londiwe: Same went for Lerato, she was dying to walk for him.

Madame: Hence she's the one that's  got a job around unlike someone I know. Londiwe, how about you take some notes from Lerato? Maybe that way, you wouldn't be such a nuisance to everyone.

Mdu: Okay Ma, stop. Londiwe is my first wife and we have to respect her. This is her house too, you know.

Madame: Her house? Paid by who? Mduduzi, don't test me.

Me: So, uhm, Ma, I thought you live in the Vaal.

Madame: That's where I used to live, right now, I live in Midrand.

Me: Oh nice.

Madame: You should step by some time. I would appreciate a little help in the house. Sasa and Thandi are very lazy.

Londiwe: Please take her with, she can go live with you.

Me: I'll come visit, Ma, I promise.

Madame: Great.
