London, England
Akanksha hotel,
Private room,
Chirag, realizing they were not alone in the room, turned his attention to the gathered guests and politely cleared his throat. With a gracious smile, he began the introductions, "Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra, please allow me to introduce my younger brother, Rohan."
A hushed silence enveloped the room as the name "Rohan" hung in the air, a name that held a significant history in the lives of the Malhotra family. Their own son, Rohan, had disappeared at the tender age of five due to a painful misunderstanding, and his name remained etched in their hearts.
Rohan, perceptive to their stunned expressions, broke the silence with a mysterious yet warm smile. "It's a pleasure to meet all of you," he said with grace, trying to alleviate the tension. "I apologize for my sudden appearance. I just finished a meeting here in the same hotel. Chirag bhai mentioned he was here, so I couldn't resist coming to meet him."
The revelation was met with a mix of emotions from the Malhotra family, ranging from shock to curiosity. The past and present collided in this unexpected moment, leaving room for questions and perhaps even a glimmer of hope.
Rohan stood up, turning towards the Sharma sisters. His voice carried a sense of genuine concern as he asked, "Where is Naman? I would like to meet him. Last time when I met him in college, there were some problems. So, I could not talk to him in detail. But when I asked my assistant to fix my meeting with Mr. Naman Sharma, he said that he is admitted in the hospital. Did he get any injuries? Did he have an accident that he's in the hospital?"
The Sharma sisters were shocked, unsure of how to respond to Rohan's inquiries. Their expressions were a mix of surprise, confusion, and anxiety. They knew that Rohan was aware of the circumstances leading to Naman's hospitalization, and his interest in visiting Naman raised concerns.
Akanksha wasn't in the room at that moment, as she had excused herself to use the washroom. This presented an opportunity for Rohan to address the situation without implicating her in the unfolding events.
The room was filled with heavy silence, and Rohan seized the moment to inquire further about Naman's condition. However, the Sharma sisters hesitated to share the details, wary of what might transpire if the truth were revealed.
Neha Sharma, Naman's mother, began to panic, her voice trembling with anxiety as she addressed the Sharma sisters, "You didn't tell us about Naman's condition! What are you thinking, keeping us in the dark?" Pooja and Natasha, tried to calm her down. As Neha continued and asked, Niya, which hospital is he in?"
The Sharma sisters exchanged concerned glances but remained reluctant to speak. Rohan interjected with an offer of assistance, "I understand this is a difficult situation. Aunty, Naman is admitted to Akanksha Hospitals, the one near the police station."
With the truth revealed, the room was filled with a mix of relief, concern, and curiosity. The Sharma sisters could no longer conceal the circumstances of Naman's hospitalization, and Rohan's arrival marked the beginning of a new chapter in this unfolding story.
As Akanksha returned from the washroom and entered the room, she immediately sensed a shift in the atmosphere. The exchange she observed among her guests was different from the lightheartedness before she left. She looked around, her curiosity piqued by the hushed conversations and expressions of concern on the faces of those gathered.
Rohan, who had been the instigator of the recent developments, met her gaze and offered a warm smile. "Here, Bacha, your ice-cream has arrived. Please sit and enjoy it before it melts. I wouldn't want to order another one for you."
Akanksha was momentarily distracted by Rohan's words and the sight of her favorite ice-cream. She appreciated his thoughtfulness and took a seat, unwrapping the ice-cream. Her taste buds were quickly delighted by the sweet treat.
Meanwhile, Chirag observed Rohan closely, his suspicions and curiosity growing. He knew that Rohan was not the type to act without a plan. Something was on his mind, something he had not shared with the rest of the group. Chirag decided to approach Rohan later to find out more about his intentions.
The room remained filled with a sense of intrigue, as each person present harbored their own thoughts and concerns. While the tension had momentarily subsided, the events of the day continued to unfold, revealing more about the intricate dynamics between these families.
As the Sharma family left the private room, the atmosphere in the room shifted once more, with a sense of anticipation lingering in the air. However, it was Ragini who broke the silence, her intentions clear in the confident manner in which she addressed the room.
Ragini stood up from her chair, and her request to speak piqued the curiosity of everyone present, including Akanksha, who paused her enjoyment of the ice cream to pay attention. Rohan and Chirag exchanged knowing glances, while Chirag was confused but Rohan was well aware of what might transpire next.
Ragini, her voice steady but her cheeks slightly flushed, expressed her desire to share something. Her gaze focused on Chirag, and there was a moment of expectancy that enveloped the room. Rohan couldn't help but smile, understanding the unspoken emotions between Ragini and Chirag.
However, Ragini's proposal was met with an unexpected twist. She hesitated, her eyes briefly shifting to the exit through which the Sharma family had left. She seemed to waver, her discomfort with the presence of the Sharma family evident. The words she intended to speak remained unspoken, as she reconsidered her timing and audience.
The room filled with a mixture of relief, curiosity, and, for some, an unspoken understanding of the complex dynamics at play. The unspoken proposal hung in the air, leaving the future uncertain.
