Akanksha Mansion,
The party was in full swing. Akanksha, having just cut the cake, was busy feeding it to her loved ones. She and Asim sat down, sharing bites of cake between them. Pallavi, Shruti, and Ragini chatted nearby, their laughter mingling with the lively atmosphere. Asim, playful as always, alternated between eating his share and feeding Akanksha.
Meanwhile, Piya and her mother were huddled together, exchanging sinister glances. Piya whispered, "Now's the time, Mom. We end her happiness forever." Her mother nodded, signaling to the waiter, who acknowledged her with a nod and started moving toward Akanksha.
Unbeknownst to them, Rohan, Chirag, Aman, and Sahil had noticed the waiter's suspicious behavior and were ready to protect their sister. As the waiter approached, a bodyguard intercepted him. The waiter looked up in surprise to see the imposing figure blocking his path.
"This drink is for Akanksha ma'am," the waiter stammered, trying to maintain his composure.
The bodyguard eyed him carefully. "That's why I'm drinking it first," he replied, taking the glass from the tray. The waiter's face twisted in anger and panic.
"Sir, this is for ma'am. You can take another drink," the waiter protested, his voice edged with desperation.
The bodyguard, maintaining a calm demeanor, said, "My job is to taste ma'am's food and drinks before she does. It's a precautionary measure."
The brothers watched the scene unfold with keen interest. The Malhotras and Siddharth Oberoi exchanged confused glances. Something was clearly amiss, but they chose to stay silent, waiting for the right moment to seek clarity.
The bodyguard’s intuition was correct. He hadn’t received explicit orders to taste Akanksha’s drinks but had sensed something was wrong from the waiter's behavior. Deciding to test the waters, he had taken the glass, and the waiter’s reaction confirmed his suspicions.
Taking a sip, the bodyguard felt a sharp bitterness and immediately spat it out. He grabbed the waiter's arm, "What have you done?" he demanded.
The waiter's face paled as he tried to pull away. But before he could escape, the bodyguard held him firm. "You're coming with me," he said, dragging the waiter toward Rohan and the others without disturbing the crowd.
When the waiter was brought in front of Rohan, he glanced at him with a mixture of disdain and cold fury. "Take him to the Black House," Rohan instructed the bodyguard. "I'll deal with him tomorrow." The bodyguard nodded, leading the trembling waiter away.
The Sharma sisters, seeing their plan fail, seethed with rage. Their mother, noticing their impending outburst, whispered something that made them regain their composure, albeit with forced smiles that anyone could see were fake.
Niya, maintaining her facade, approached Akanksha. She held Akanksha's hand tightly, her grip almost painful. "Happy birthday, Akanksha," she said, her voice sweet but laced with venom.
"Thank you," Akanksha replied, trying to pull her hand back. The tight grip made her wince, but she maintained her composure, not wanting to show any discomfort.
The scene seemed innocuous to most, a simple birthday wish between acquaintances. However, the five persons —Rohan, Chirag, Aman, Sahil, and Yash—observed everything closely. They could sense the underlying tension and malice in Niya's actions.
Rohan, with his sharp instincts, immediately understood the hidden menace in Niya's gesture. He stepped forward, gently but firmly placing a hand on Niya's arm. "That's enough, Niya," he said with a tight smile. "Akanksha has a lot of guests to attend to."
