Moon had always been my best friend
when I searched for stars
it had been the companion
that always followed my car
I found peace in its beauty
when my mind was at war
it's my 3 am partner
that knows all the reasons for my scars
it always feels like home
even though it's too far
it's dark and quiet there
and the place is bizarre
it was always close to me
every time I fell apart
it knows all my feelings
and what's inside my heart
it was always with me
from the very start
