Now in case some of you are confused about the urine and about the plant, thank you. Cuz I looking for any excuse to lore dump.

DEATH'S EMBRACE

Death's Embrace is a sentient plant indigenous to Hesper. It can commonly be found in graveyards, battlefields and in really gross situations, rundown hospitals.

In Danican text it is known as a Grade 1 invasive species, meaning it's extremely deadly.

The plant spreads using seeds that at first glance look like rice grains. It stays dormant in the animal (or human obviously) until a vital organ is damaged.

Then it spreads it vines and feeds on the bloods of it's victim. After death, it manipulates the brain to secrete urine along with sensory neurons, which it dyes red as well to make it look like blood.

Using its enzymes, the plants slows down the decomposition of the (maybe) long dead organism. For humans, they then rush to help or remove the body. And for animals they rush to eat the prey or whatever (conduct funeral rites maybe?)

When the person comes close, the sensors in the urine-blood detect it and the vines make an appearance, draining the blood of the person. And then the cycle continues on and on with the next kind idiot that comes close.

If this tactic fails and the plant is almost on the verge of death, the plant plays it's last trump card. It releases a powerful neurotoxin which causes the victim to hallucinate and attract the prey to it. And then you know; kill the victim

If you feel this is dramatic, so do I. But what can say? I'm a dramatic person. Bye bye
