I tried my best to tune out the noise in the cafeteria as I scanned the crowd filled with a wull heep of hungry belly pickney including myself in search for my best friend who told me not to move she'll be right back.

Is she back yet?? Nooo

I know I look awkward asf standing here just looking around with a mug on my face. My parents are always telling me to fix my face I have no reason to be huffing and puffing all day. But it's literally just my face. I can't help it

Growing up people from my community would start their fuckry and tell me if I don't smile my heart with start to swell and burst then another lady told me if I didn't smile I was gonna grow up ugly and nobody would want me.

I didn't care if I ended up with no one because my parents ensured I got the memo of me not getting a boyfriend. They drilled it in my head from I could talk.

I was searching for someone else too.. but the person is no where in sight. I'm confused on how he's new here but already knows half the population of the school. No literally

Yesterday I saw him and what I believe is his dad talking on their veranda talking it seemed like they were having a intense conversation so I just mind my business. As I should..might fuck around and find out

I did want to know though because I'm a noisy person after all I can't help it. When I got back on the veranda they were gone and he was making his way out our lane. That made me sad ngl

I turned around and took in his appearance, he was dressed in his normal school uniform with his white shirt tucked in his khaki pants and his desert Clark's clean asf. Doh waa be the person weh step pon dat a blct naa tek di risk

My eyes then met with his and I stared in aw realizing that he wears glasses. Aww look pon di likkle nerd him cute eeh

To say I haven't been ignoring him is a lie because that all I've been doing for the past 2 days. He still stares at me like a creep but doesn't say anything he probably got the memo that I don't want to talk to him. Until now ofc.. hope him nuh come chat nuh foolishness a mi ears cause dat sounds just get mi crass

"Uh nuh do mi nothing weh uh get dat from sir" I asked them checked the time on my phone. 11:45 it read making me sigh. I really wanna go eat and Amoy is nowhere to be found. I swear this girl gets on my nerves. How she love man suh?? Still love har though

She told me to wait on her at our usual spot she'll be here but I've been waiting for that past 10 minutes and she still hasn't showed up.

"Yo Cash!" I heard someone shout out making me look at him in confusion. Cash?? Rass
"Soon fawud my youth easy nuh!" he shouted back and I really wished I moved because people started to stare at us.

"Caa get u numba"he asked licking his lips making me look away. One smaddy can look suh good dawg

He looked at me up and down then licked his lips once more then said " Cause I'm tryna get to know you beautiful..is that a problem?".
