"he came to your house just for the cupcakes?"
it was the end of the week, but yerin had been so busy that she had no time to catch her friends up on what happened on saturday.
"without a jacket too i swear he's so reckless sometimes."
"i'm surprised you even offered to help," xiaoting noted. everyone in the friendship group knew how much she valued her weekends to relax given that her week was always busy.
"but if it was me texting you on a saturday afternoon to help you would tell me to go fuck my self," renjun whined and yerin laughed.
"very true. that's because i don't like you."
"so you do admit it then? you like hanbin," her face dropped at his words and she began to refuse.
"wait what- no i never-."
"you can't run away from the truth, it's not a crime to like someone."
"who likes who?" hanbin interrupted them, bending down so his head was right next to hers and yerin almost jumps out of her skin.
she raised her hand, about to hit him but he grabs her wrist and pulled her towards him.
"you have got to stop acting up every time you want to touch me," he teased her, his voice sending chills down her spine.
"shut the fuck up golden boy, i didn't say all of that."
"why are you even sitting her anyways?" she asked as he slid his bag off of his shoulder, and putting it down under the chair next to her.
"i wanted to hang out with my favourite people, and how could i forget my favourite girl."
"what happened to the rest of your friends? i'm sure you could find somebody else to irritate with your presence," she rolled her eyes.
"everyone has classes. plus you know you secretly enjoy having me around,"he shrugs.
hanbin notices the skirt yerin is wearing and slips his jacket off to put it on her lap before he sits.
"thanks," she mumbles, pretending that it didn't bother her.
"you're welcome."
yerin hated how flustered hanbin was making her lately.
she used to not pay attention to his kind gestures, after all that was just the type of guy he was
but ever since the weekend, her heart betrayed her as it fluttered everytime he would hold the door open for her, or fix her hair, or tie her shoelaces.
even now, as he used the inside of his jumper to wipe the top of her drink can clean before opening and putting it in front of her.
