3rd person pov
9:55am"good morning yerin," hanbin's voice was light and airy as he pushed past many people just to sit next to her.
she wanted to ignore him, or snap at him for being cheerful so early in the morning, but she remembered their truce.
"hi hanbin," she replied back plainly, the corners of her lips raising slightly for a couple of seconds before her face relaxed again.
"i always though happiness started with a h, but it turns out mine starts with u."
"alright you're pushing it now," yerin shoved him slightly, but she found herself smiling a little at how corny the joke was.
"i would come up with a million pick up lines if it meant i get to see you smile like that."
"whatever lover boy, i wasn't smiling at you" she l said, but hanbin knew she was lying and just nodded his head, pretending to go along with it.
it was only when he sat down that he saw the pink wrist brace on her left hand.
"what happened to you?" hanbin was worried, as he gently lifted her arm.
"sprained my wrist yesterday night, it's nothing serious though. i swear i can barely feel any pain."
but hanbin was not convinced, his eyebrows furrowed as he kept staring at the brace.
"i told you i'm fine," yerin brushed things aside, setting out her notebooks and pens to get ready to take notes.
"let me be your hand for today."
"what?" yerin was shocked, but the look on his face told her he was serious.
"i don't want you to have to even lift a finger today, let me help you."
"but-" she was about to protest, but hanbin had already taken the paper and pens away from her and setting it down in front of him.
"i'm not arguing with you on this" and although she wanted to argue back, she slumped in her seat, giving up.
for the entirety of the class hanbin didn't say a word, working hard on making sure he got the notes just the way she liked it.
at times, he would peer up from his writing to see if she was alright, before tuning back in to the lesson.
"thank you hanbin." yerin thanked him, truthfully grateful for his help.
"just doing my duty, i'm always here to serve you ms yerin."
"whatever hanbin, are you going to get up or were you planning on making us the only two people left in this class?" and he finally stopped staring at yerin, noticing that the last person had just pushed the door open to leave.
"my bad, i was too mesmerised by your beauty"
hanbin kept true to his words, pushing her back in his seat as he neatly packed away her things one by one, placing things in her bag before putting it on his shoulder.
