The next morning, Marinette woke up & groaned, only to find that Adrien had left

She saw a red letter & opened it up

Marinette: "Dear Marinette, I left last night. But luckily, I didn't get caught & no one found out about what happened last night. I hope you sleep well & have a good day. P.S., I can't wait to see you again. I love you. XOXO. Love, Your handsome devil"

Marinette blushed & giggled

Marinette: That horny devil.

She noticed she was naked & placed on her white dress & slippers, going downstairs

But she was shocked to see the crowd of people outside the Palace

Marinette: Huh?

Tom & Sabine approached behind her

Sabine: You're finally awake, Marinette.

Marinette: Mama, what's going on?

Sabine: Well, the ball is starting today & I thought I'd introduce you to Juleka's brother, Luka.

Marinette: Her brother?

Juleka, Anarka, and Luka arrived at the front of the Palace

Juleka: Marinette, Sabine, this is my mother Anarka & my brother, Luka.

Anarka: It's nice to meet you both.

Sabine: It's nice to meet you too.

Marinette: Um, hello.

Marinette waved shyly, until she caught Luka staring at her

Luka: (mind) She's gorgeous.

He took ahold of her hand & shook it, which Marinette did the same

Luka: It's nice to meet you, Your Highness.

Marinette: Oh, there's no need for that. You can just call me Marinette.

Luka: Alright.

Sabine: Marinette, you should show Luka around the Palace. I need to talk about the ball preparations with Anarka.

Marinette: Okay, Mama. You can follow me, Luka.

He nodded & followed her inside, where they walked up the staircase to a spare bedroom

Luka: You're really beautiful, Marinette.

Marinette: Oh! Um, thank you.

Luka: Do you have a boyfriend?

Just then, she stopped in her tracks & thought of Adrien kissing her from the night before

Marinette: Um, no.. I don't.

Luka: Oh.

Marinette: So, you're Juleka's brother? I had no idea.

Luka: Yeah. I plan on being a musician some day.

Marinette: Wow. That's amazing.

Luka: Do you have any plans, princess?

Marinette: Well, actually.. that's a good question.. I don't, though.. to be honest, my mom has my whole life planned out for me.
