In the Hell Palace, the Agreste Family sat down for dinner

While Emilie & Gabriel were talking, Adrien stared at his plate the whole time, thinking of Marinette

Adrien: (mind) She was absolutely gorgeous...

He felt a blush stain his cheeks & his mother glanced over at him

Emilie: Adrien?

Adrien: Huh? Yeah?

Emilie: Is something wrong? You've barely touched your plate.

Adrien: I'm fine. Probably just tired.

Gabriel: Let me guess. Was it sex?

Adrien: No, just.. I kind of started thinking... the kingdom is starting to die. Plants are withering, more devils are becoming sick.

Emilie: Do you think it could be the Great One's power?

Gabriel: Not sure. Do you think we should speak with him?

Adrien: Probably not. He'll only become more enraged.

Emilie: Yes. You do have a point.

In the Heaven Kingdom, Marinette sneezed & coughed into a tissue

Sabine checked her temperature

Sabine: Honey, you have a temperature of 103. What happened last night?

Marinette: I guess I just wanted to go outside for a walk, but ended up getting sick. I didn't expect for it to be that cold.

Sabine: Oh. Well, you should stay in bed for the meantime. You can invite Alya & the girls over. But remain inside, okay?

Marinette: Okay.

She closed the door & Marinette stared at the ceiling, reminded of Tikki's words from last night

Marinette: (mind) Is it selfish of me to want to fall in love..? I'd end up finding out what it's like to have a soul mate, but then I'd risk everyone dying by the Great One.

She groaned & grabbed the glass of water from the dresser, gulping it down

She looked out to the Hell Kingdom, as her heart fluttered suddenly thinking of Adrien

She brought the pen & paper over to her, folded it up, and threw it out the window, as it launched towards the Hell Kingdom

The letter landed it in the grass, where Adrien was picking the dead weeds from the ground

He noticed the scroll of paper & opened it up

Adrien: A letter from Marinette?

He opened it up

Adrien: "Hello, Adrien. I don't know if you remember me from before, but I think you & I had a connection when we first met. Something sparked in me when I first saw you, but I was angry. I'm sorry for what happened, but you can't be allowed on the Heaven Kingdom property. You may be a devil, but I think you have a soft side to you. I was wondering if maybe we could be friends. If you want to, that is. Sincerely, Marinette"
