Down in the darklands, Marinette woke up to find herself numb & groaned in pain
Marinette: My head hurts badly.. but where I am..?
She looked around, seeing nothing but darkness surrounding her
She whimpered & hugged her knees
Marinette: What have I done? I've let everyone down, especially Tikki. They'd all be so disappointed in me. I've ruined everything.
As negative thoughts entered her mind, black vines grabbed ahold of her wrists
Marinette: Aah! What.. let me go!
The vines didn't let go & held her tight, beginning to drain her life energy
Marinette: No, no! Stop! No! Someone! Anyone, help me! Please!
Tears flowed down her eyes, but she noticed Lucifer in front of her
Marinette: You scumbag. Release me immediately!
Lucifer: Hmm, I don't think so, Princess.
He looked down at her, her eyes filled with rage
Marinette: Mark my words, Lucifer. I'll destroy you & I'll make you beg for forgiveness.
A sly chuckle escaped his lips
Lucifer: Good luck trying.
She struggled to escape from the vines, but then an idea popped into her head
Marinette: I know what you really are.
Lucifer: Oh, really? And what is that? I'm the lord of all evil.
She laughed a bit & shook her head no
Marinette: Hmm. No. You're a fallen angel. Did you forget?
He stayed quiet, suddenly releasing her from the vines
Lucifer: How did you know about that?
Marinette: I know that my father abandoned you because of your cruel ways. How about restoring you to your true form?
Filled with rage, he held a blast of energy in his hand
Lucifer: I won't hesitate to kill you right this instant, Princess.
Marinette: Go ahead & do it. I'm no longer afraid of you.
Lucifer: You're gonna wish I let you live. Goodbye, Princess.
As he threw the blast of energy at her, a bright shining light emerged from her heart
He screamed in pain as it's power & fell to the ground
With swirls of magic, Marinette vanished in a cloud of dust
Lucifer: What the hell? Where did she go?
He gritted his teeth in anger & snarled
Lucifer: Once I find you, Princess Marinette, I'm going to end your life once & for all.
Marinette opened her eyes, finding herself on a cloud & floating in the sky
Marinette: What the.. what's going on?! How am I floating?!
Tikki: We're in my consciousness, Marinette.
Marinette: T-Tikki.. you're here.. but.. how?
Tikki: My spirit managed to survive the incident & I followed you. Luckily, Lucifer hasn't found me yet.
Marinette: Tikki, this is all of my fault. I've let everyone down, especially you. I wasn't able to keep my promise.
She placed her hand on Marinette's chin, as she looked up at the angel
Tikki: Marinette, don't blame yourself. You couldn't handle all of the power that Lucifer has. But I can help you.
Marinette: How? I have nothing left. Lucifer has taken everything of mine. My family, my friends, my magic. I'm powerless & useless..
Tikki: Marinette, no one is useless. You're just as powerful as him. You've managed all of this on your own & you can do it again. You can save this world & everyone else. Believe in yourself, like how I believe in you.
She sniffled but then held her hands to her chest
Marinette: Are you really sure I can do it?
Tikki: Of course you can. You can restore everything, even Lucifer. So, what do you say? Do you want to save the people you love?
As she held out her hand, Marinette hesitated, but took it
Marinette: Yes, Tikki. I'm ready.
Both of them closed their eyes, taking each other's hands
Tikki: May the God of hope fill you with all joy & peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Tikki's spirit entered Marinette's soul, her eyes turning white & the power rising within her
Just then, the bright light shined, as a golden halo appeared on Marinette's head
A new amulet appearing around her neck, with the Holy symbol on it
Her dress flowed down to the ground & a scepter with angel wings appeared in her hand
Marinette: What the...
She looked down at herself & smiled
Marinette: I can feel Tikki's power within me. Me & her become one.
She looked down at the Earth, seeing the crimson red sky, as she gripped the weapon in her hand
Marinette: The battle has begun, Lucifer.
