They chased me around and everywhere
Inside, outside, from afar and very near
I told them to leave when they'd play their fare
A platter served cold for a young'un to fear
Powerless I read their palms to understand
Because all that I said was but nail for a tooth
So I taunted and pointed each finger on my hand
If only I had known what I'd finally loose
