While Night Raid has lost two members, Najenda wish to look for more members for the team. But at the same time, the Empire has recruited Teigu users and formed a special force in order to counter assassins called the Jaeger. While most of them are there, two members are currently absent which is somewhat a good thing for now.

And a new day has come for Jaeger. The others at the meeting room, while Wave and Bols cooking at the kitchen. They using the seafood ingredients that Wave brought.

Wave: Using my memento... The seafood I brought from home... To make a big welcoming dinner was a good idea.

Though Wave felt off that Bols can cook even when he wear the mask, which still makes Wave feel uncomfortable.

Bols: Wave-kun, the spinach must go in last. It's a bit too early for that.

Wave: Oh, sorry. But Bols-san, I am relieved to know that you're actually a kind person.

Bols: I'm not... kind at all.

Wave: Huh?

Bols: Anyway, let's keep cooking. Not wanting the others to wait for too long.

Wave: Right!

(Meeting Room)

Back at the meeting room, the others are waiting for Wave and Bols to finish with the dinner. Kurome is playing with Koro.

Seryu: General, what do you usually do during spare time?

Esdeath: Well... Mostly hunting and torture. Otherwise, I'd study. But at the moment...

She put the glass of wine onto the table.

Esdeath: I might try to get my hand into being in love.

Kurome/Seryu: *in mind* Love?!

Esdeath: By the way, has the report about the spare Teigu has come yet?

Seryu: Ah... Y-Yes, it has. The giant scissor Teigu that we retrieved from those evil people is currently being held at the Main Guard Office. But we have yet to find someone suitable to use it.

Esdeath: And at this rate, the Prime Minister will take control of it. Hmm... It would be such a waste. In order to find someone compatible to use it, I think we should put on an entertaining show.

After done with that, Esdeath have a plan on how she can find a candidate partner for her. Though there is already someone who wish to take her, she is incredibly annoyed by the person. Done with cooking, Wave and Bols came into the meeting room with their dinner is served.

Few Days Later...

(Morning)

In the morning, Tatsumi is called to the Capital by Lubbock. He went there and try to remain hidden because he is worried he might get discovered due to the incident at the cruise ship, Ryussen. While walking through the streets, he meet with Lubbock near a bookstore.

At the Lubbock's Bookstore...

Once arrived there, it shows that the bookstore is just same as the usual bookstore that you can find anywhere. But Lubbock's store have much more different kind of books that he sell, buy and trade. Though the bookstore is just a cover-up for a hidden base under the store.
