Chapter 6

The time in the hospital legit made Leeteuk go crazy, the doctor's constant attention, the loud noises, the way people looked at him in pity - he hated pity -, the way the nurses were especially kind to him because he was abused, everything was just getting on his nerves, he wanted to get away from there as far as possible and as soon as possible.

Leeteuk had told his friends on a call that he was just taking a leave for a week for personal reasons and they had understood. They always knew that Leeteuk had some family situation that he didn't want to talk about so they didn't pry any further though it didn't mean they were not concerned.

Heechul on the other tried his best to stay with Leeteuk, he would go to his classes (morning to afternoon) and then come back to the hospital despite Leeteuk telling him not to and that he was fine.

3 days passed in the hospital and on the 4th day when Leeteuk felt that he was going to go crazy, the older of the two told him that he was getting discharged in the evening.

The whole day Heechul stayed by his side when the doctors kept coming and checking on him constantly, finally evening arrived and after one last checkup, the doctor reminded him, "You are not completely healed. You have to take extra care. Avoid fast foods and drinks. Don't forget to take your medicine and remember to come next month for a checkup."

When the doctor went away, Leeteuk said, "He is like a robot." making a face that was half frown - half shock. Heechul heard him and laughed, his hand itched at that time to pat Leeteuk's head -cause at that time to Heechul, the younger looked really cute - but he didn't, he clenched it behind him and said, "Wait here. I'll go and do the discharge procedure."

After the older went outside the room, Leeteuk decided to change into the clothes Heechul had bought him earlier. It was just a plain T-shirt and jeans, the one he usually wore.

When he was almost done changing, Heechul came inside the room, "Oh Sorry I-" He was going to go outside when Leeteuk said, "No it's fine I am done." With that, he pulled his T-shirt down.

"So I am done with the discharge procedure. You ready to go home?" Heechul asked. He somehow knew that Leeteuk needed time, so he decided to be patient. However, Leeteuk was all ready. These past few days he has been thinking of the year he was going to spend with 

Heechul. He had also decided to stay out of Heechul's way for as long as he could. He didn't wanna bother the other.

When they arrived at Heechul's place, Leeteuk was shocked would be an understatement. He was going to die from shock. This was in no way a simple house. It was situated in a very classy area and Heechul's apartment had four rooms, one living room, and a kitchen.

Heechul firstly directed him to the living room a few steps away from the door and then he showed him the kitchen which was a few steps away -and opposite- the living room. Then Heechul showed him his room and then Leeteuk's room which were facing each other. And then told him the back two rooms were empty and mostly for guests or when his parents came to visit.

And finally, they both sat in the living room, after ordering some light food since Leeteuk was still sick. Heechul then took out two papers and said, "Here since we are living together we should make some rules so that we can live comfortably."

"Okay," Leetuek said and looked at Heechul before starting to write while the older one did the same.

After 15 minutes they were done, Leeteuk kept the paper on the tea table as he put the cap of the pen back, "I could only think of this much."

Heechul took the paper and said, "It's fine. If you remember a rule you absolutely want, we can add it later. First I'll read your rules out loud and then mine. okay?"

"Sure," Leeteuk said with a small which made Heechul smile too.

"Okay, here we go," Heechul said as he started reading the rules.

Leeteuk's Rules

1- Communicate when any problem is there.2- Knock on the door before entering3- No forcing something

Heechul's Rules

1- Always talk whenever there is some issue.2- Keep the place tidy. 3- Mention if you are going to be out late, or wherever you are going so that you don't trouble/worry the other person.

When Heechul finished reading, they found out they had 1 rule in common, and it was the most important rule out of everything. He smiled as he said, "You agree with my rules? I agree with yours."

"Yes, I agree with yours," Leeteuk said.

The older smiled as he said, "Then we'll have to write all these in one page and stick it somewhere."

"Okay. And should we add that 'we should not tell anyone about this' rule?" Leeteuk asked fidgeting with his finger, they had talked about this before, they didn't want to tell anyone they were married to avoid complications.

"Yeah, that too. So total we 6 rules." Heechul said as he wrote down the rules.

Final Rules.1- Communicate whenever some issue is there. 2- Knock on the door before entering.3- Always tell the other your whereabouts.4- Keep the place tidy.5- No forcing something on the other.6- Don't tell anyone about the marriage.

After having confirmed the rules, they decided to stick the rule page in Leeteuk's room. Then they decided to eat the takeout in a half-comfortable, half-awkward atmosphere
