Sincerely, Yours [DISCONTINUED]

Chapter 7

It was in the evening when Leeteuk came out of his room, after eating lunch, he stayed cooped up in his room all the time to avoid Heechul, the atmosphere between them was awkward and he didn't wanna make Heechul uncomfortable.

Two hours ago, Heechul had texted him, that he was going out with his friends, so now Leeteuk was alone in this huge house.

He walked out of his room and into the living room, he looked at the time and realized that it was around 8 and he was starting to feel hungry, so he went inside the kitchen and opened the refrigerator and found out there were tons of things in it.

Heechul had said that he could use anything he wanted, so Leeteuk decided he would make himself some dinner, and then he thought he should ask if Heechul wanted to have dinner too.

Taking his phone out from the his jeans, he opened his chats and was going to send a message to the older but then a message came from from instead.

Heechul

I will be home late.

Don't forget to take medicine after dinner.

Okay. Take care.

Leeteuk sighed and kept his phone down. He then removed 3 eggs from the refrigerator and some vegies. He thought he would make simple fried rice to eat. He had thought if Heechul was going to eat with him, then he would have cooked more stuff but since he was alone simple fried rice would do.

After eating dinner, washing dishes, and eating medicine, Leeteuk went back to his room, he removed a few books and started studying. He needed to study so that he could get a job, earn enough money and live on his own.

He won't admit it but he also was waiting for Heechul to come home.

It was after a few hours when the door opened and footsteps were heard, he went out of his room and saw Heechul walking in, stumbling and trying not to fall.

Stench of Alcohol flooded the air between them and Leeteuk stopped at his place, memories of his father coming home like that and then hitting him came into his mind, he gulped and looked at Heechul who asked, "You didn't sleep yet?"

His words were slurring and Leeteuk could make out he was barely sober, the younger nodded and said, "I was studying."

"Oh. I am going to sleep now. Goodnight." With that Heechul went into his room without looking back at him.

The younger nodded to nothing and went back in his room, he closed the book with much more force than necessary and laid down on his bed to sleep.

If he was being honest, he didn't like seeing Heechul come in drenched with alcohol but he also knew he couldn't do or say anything about it. Not when this was not his home. This was the problem when living with his father and now with Heechul. He was helpless, vulnerable even. However, there was one good thing here, at least Heechul was not hitting him.

He decided he should just sleep before he overthinks more.

The next morning, Leeteuk woke up and went to college, without eating breakfast, this had become a habit, living with his father, he didn't have enough money to eat three meals a day, sometimes he would eat lunch and dinner, sometimes just dinner and worse times he would go on without eating anything.

He met Shindong, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun in the class and waved at them, he kept his bag on the bench and was going to sit down when Eunhyuk asked, "Are you okay?"

Eunhyuk, Kyuhyun and Shindong, these three looked at Leeteuk who had dark circles under his eyes, his body limped and there was a small bandage on his forehead. Leeteuk gave off the air that he was exhausted and this was noticed by the three of them.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Leeteuk smiled. He knew these three were actually concerned about him. He then asked to change the topic, he was worried they would ask more questions and he won't be able to answer them, "Can you lend me your notes?"

"Here." Eunhyuk handed him the notes while saying, also noticing the change in the topic, "Take mine cause Kyuhyun didn't write it as he was gaming in class and almost got caught and Shindong ate his." He said to make Leeteuk laugh and lighten the atmosphere.

As soon as he finished his sentence, Eunhyuk was awarded with smack on his head by both Shindong and Kyuhyun. He whined as he tried to hide behind Leeteuk who just laughed while the other two tried to attack him.

However the professor came and they all sat down properly, Eunhyuk on the right of Leeteuk for safety measures as he didn't wanted to get murdered by those two while Shindong, Kyuhyun sat on the left side of Leeteuk.

It was lunchtime, and Leeteuk, Shindong, Kyuhyun, and Eunhyuk went to the canteen to eat. They sat down at the table and started to decide what to eat, when they were done deciding, they saw Heechul, Yesung, Donghae, and Ryeowook coming to the canteen.

Eunhyuk waved at them and pointed at the empty table in front of them, asking them to sit there and they did while making small talks and making some jokes.

After chatting for a few minutes, Eunhyuk got up and said, "We'll go bring our food."

Leeteuk stood wanting to go and bring it but Eunhyuk pushed him down and said, "You sit I'll go bring yours too." 

Eunhyuk knew Leeteuk was having a hard time so he thought he should help him in whatever he can.

"Why? I can go along." Leeteuk once again got up but was pushed down by Eunhyuk, "Just sit. You look like you need rest."

With that, he didn't give chance to Leeteuk to speak and went with Shindong and Kyuhyun. A minute later, Ryeowook, Yesung, and Donghae got up and went to buy their own food. When they asked Heechul to join, he said he wasn't hungry and didn't want to eat.

So now only Leeteuk and Heechul were left and when they realised this, they both just stared at each other awkwardly.
