Substitute-Shinigami:

Zanpakutō: Kekkan Gatsuki (欠陥月鬼, Flawed Moon-Demon)

Zanpakuto Type: Unknown (Possible Kido Type)

Sealed: Unlike most Zanpakutō, it remains in its first original state as an Asauchi. Taking the form of a curved Shikomizue with black as its main color. It also has a gem near the end of the handle, although looking like a triangle instead. Pink in color.

Shikai (Initial Release): The Shikai of his Zanpakutō transforms into dual revolvers. Both revolvers are black in color with blue handles.

Special Ability (Shikai): the special ability of the initial release is called "Dai Seikō" (大成功, Dead On). While activated, he's able to hit his targets with precise accuracy for one minute. The reason the time is so short is because of how much power it takes for him to utilize it.

Kaigo (Release Call): "Show no Fear" ("恐れを見せない", "Osore o Misenai")

Bankai (Final Release): Kekkan Gatsu - Nishi no Akuma (欠陥月-西の悪魔, lit. Defective Moon - Devil of the West), AKA "Flawed Moon-Demon of the West".

When released, the weapon will transform into a giant bow, with a quiver and some arrows. All of the arrows are made of energy. So the stronger Masuo is, the more powerful his arrows are.

Special Ability (Bankai): special ability of the final release is called "Ō no Danmaku" (王の弾幕, The King's Barrage). When activated, 20 to 40 arrows from his quiver begin to float all around him, while his main arrow is in his hands. After he fired the first arrow, one by one, all the arrows will fly towards the target at breakneck speed.

Because the arrows are connected to the bow via "Energy Link", he could change the trajectory of the arrows simply by moving his bow.

The major downside, much like his initial release, the amount of energy it cost to utilize such a move. Usually, it will take around half of his overall energy to fire all the arrows. So it takes around 20 minutes for him to gain it all again.

Shin'uchi (True Strike; Fullbring/Zanpakuto): "Getsu - Akuma no Futago" (月 - 悪魔の双子, lit. Moon - Demon Twins) is the final transformation in Masuo's arsenal.

While still retaining his Bankai, his Zanpakutō Spirit comes outside of his Inner World in order to help him. In this way his power, although split in two, will give him more flexibility and allows him to be more unpredictable.

Zanpakutō Spirit: Kekkan Gatsuki

Kekkan Gatsuki is a tall 6'5 female with green eyes, orange hair that is shoulder length, and freckles that go across her nose. Much like Masuo, her clothing is asian based. But, instead of a kimono, she wears the Shihakushō. Also has a Haori similar to her master, that is blue in color instead. Another subtle difference is that, instead of an autumn tree, the tree has no leaves and it's in the middle of winter. With the female wearing warmer clothing.

Zanpakutō Personality: Kekkan Gatsuki is similar to Masuo in many ways. Too many in fact, to the point where there's barely any differences at all. Which, at least for a Zanpakutō, is a little odd. Regardless, they do have differences that becomes apparent later on.

For example, while Masuo usually is known to be a procrastinator, Kekkan tends to be even more lazier. Another example would be their preferences on beverages, with Masuo enjoying coffee more than tea and vice versa.

Inner World: Masuo's inner world replicates a small house in the middle of a rural area, surrounded by apple trees and tall grass, with a dirt road headed straight to the house. It is also surrounded by the barn area and other small houses. Most of the grass is hip level, regarding height.
