Summery ~ Rafael and Nick just realised that they where in Minecraft, with a wardrobe change no less. The change in world nothing but impending doom awaits them...
"Get it together," Rafael slaps herself in the face, "for the moment let's assume the worst and we are in Minecraft."
"Mhmm?" Nick mumbles. Rafael looks up to the sky, examining the placement of the sun. Horror struck her face, "ITS ALMSOT NIGHTFALL!"
If the panic of a new environment wasn't enough the horrible night to come would do the trick. They both began to run around franticly unsure of what to do.
"You get the wood, I'll get the sheep," Rafael yells distraught as she runs towards an open field.
"Right!" Nick agrees.
Rafael runs around looking for victim to make beds with, but with none in sight and night fast approaching the hunt was on.
Nick starts to test the mechanics of their environment; she starts by destroying the base of the tree, to her dismay the tree remained floating. After collecting the wood that defied gravity, Nick had to figure out how to craft wooden planks to make the crafting table. She glares at it blankly, confused she tries poking it in her hand, but nothing happens. Somehow the wood shrinks in her hand, must be some type of inventory skill. Nick checks her person for anything that might help with crafting. She found two bags around her belt, one a satchel and another a smaller bag.
Nick starts placing the small wood blocks in each bag. A small icon pops up when she puts the blocks in the smaller bag. On closer inspection, the icon shows 'X4 wooden planks'. Nick clicks on the icon and when she takes the block out of the smaller bag, she suddenly has 4 plank blocks. "Huh," She smiles. She places the blocks back into the crafting bag, and quickly makes a crafting table.
After running around like a lunatic and beating a sheep to death, Rafael runs back to Nick to get some tools. "Way to insufficient beating them with my hand..." Rafael grumbles, "Got a sword I can borrow?"
Nick places the crafting table and tosses some log blocks at her, "Go for it."
Rafael gets to work crafting a sword and quickly goes back to running around killing sheep.
They both explore the surrounding area trying to get the necessary materials for nightfall. In the end, they find the ruins of what used to be a doorway to the realm where lava is all the eyes could see; the ever-familiar Nether Portal.
"First structure, what do we get?" Rafael mumbles. Nick pulls the lid open on the chest revealing nothing at all. Rafael rummages through the context of the chest, "A few misally pieces of gold... really."
The sky begins descending into darkness and the last rays of sun begin to fade.
"I ONLY HAVE 5 WOOL!!" Rafael panics.
"WHAT!?!?! That killing spree was for ONLY 5?!" Nick half-screams, hiding behind the ruin portal, "We're DOOMED!"
"Pass me some wood, we'll bunker down in the portal."
Panic possessing them, they gather all the blocks available and throw them around the hollow structure of the ruined portal. Never before have they been so grateful that the blocks they flung up in the air, stuck on and stayed, forming somewhat of a roof and walls. It must have been the fact that their lives were on the line, because they didn't notice the countless openings in their defence structure. But hey, Rafael found a solution! To cover up something worth two blocks, she uses up 6 blocks to create... lo and behold, a door.
