It's been a long day at True Cross, you're exhausted, and all you want to do is return to your dorm and sleep.

You open the door to your dorm and let out a deep sigh.

You throw your school bag on the floor next to your bed and flopped onto it. Groaning loudly as you remember you have homework and school assignments to complete.

You slowly and reluctantly get up and get off the bed and look at your school bag, debating on whether to do your schoolwork or not and desperately trying to find a reason not to do it.

Suddenly there's a knock at the door.

You turn your head to the source of the knocking. "Come in," you say, curious to see who could be at your door.

The door opens. It's Rin.

Rin is your boyfriend, the two of you had been dating for about 2 months. Meaning it was still quite early in the relationship, and despite knowing each other for a while he was quite shy around you and your relationship. Not because he was unhappy in the relationship or anything, but because he likes you so much, and he can't believe he got so lucky to have you.

And there he is, standing in your doorway with a soft blush on his face, "Uhm..." the blue haired boy stuttered, blinking a few times.

"Uh, did you want anything..?" You ask your boyfriend, a small making it's way on your face. Rin's face becomes redder and he starts stuttering even more. He didn't think he'd get this far.

"I, um, I just wanted to see what you were doing..." he says sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck.

Well, there's a reason not to do your homework. Oh, uhm, not much," you say. There's an awkward silence between the two for a short moment before you speak up again.

"Do you want to come inside?" You ask, speaking nervously, the small blush on your face still present. The blue haired boy blinked a few times before answering, "Uh, sure!"

You open the door further and let Rin inside.

Once inside you and Rin just awkwardly stare at each other, not saying or doing anything.

"Soo..." you begin, breaking the awkward silence, but instead you end up making things more awkward.

"What do you want to do?"

"Uhm..." was all Rin says in respons.

God this is awkward.

Then Rin's ears and eyes perked up, seems like he got an idea.

"How about we, uhm..." the demon hesitated for a little bit, "How about we cuddled..."

Now it's your turn to blink a few times trying to process what Rin had just said.

You and Rin had never cuddled together before. In fact, you had never cuddled with anyone in general. And you don't doubt that Rin has never cuddled with anyone before given his history of getting into fights, and the fact he didn't have any friends besides his brother before coming to True Cross.

Although you'd be lying if you said you'd never imagined cuddling with him before. Your bodies pressed against each other, sharing your body heat with nothing but love between the two of you. Your face pressed against his chest listening to his steady heart beat, or the other way around.

"So," Rin's voice broke you out of your trance, "Do you want to cuddle?" There was a moment of pause.

"Uh, sure," you replied with a slight nervous and sheepish chuckle.

After some more awkward silence between the two of you, you decide to take the initiative. You gently take your boyfriend's hands and lead him to your dorm bed.

You gently lay Rin on the bed, you climb on top of him and lay down on your side next to him putting your head on his chest, "Is this okay?" You ask.

Rin is tense, his cheeks flushed. You can hear his heart racing inside his chest. He slowly wraps his arms around your body, keeping you close.

Holy shit.

He can't believe this is happening. Rin is currently cuddling with the one person he likes beyond what words can describe.

Rin appears to be caught in some sort of trance.

"Rin," you call out, snapping him out of his trance, "Is this okay?" You ask again. Your head is still on his chest looking up at him with doe eyes.

It takes Rin a few seconds to process what you just said but when he does he gives you a nods and a big but nervous smile.

After a few moments both of you start to relax in each other's arms. Enjoying each others presence, company and warmth.

Both of your breathing is slow and steady as you both lay in comfortable silence slowly drifting off to sleep.

This is a step forward in your relationship, as it is a step forward to getting closer and more comfortable with each other.

All of your worries melt away as you lay in Rin's arms with your head on his chest.

No need to worry about your home- or school work now. All that matters is you and Rin together happily cuddling together in your bed.
