i sat at my desk and continued to do my paperwork. i had to fill out reports about murder, bombings, arson, etc. chief wasnt here yet an its late. ive saw her only a couple times today but other than that shes been out of the station all day. she came by to grab some papers then left with some officers. she told me i couldnt come with for who knows why. honestly its whatever at this point. chief did give my own office and its nice being in silence.  

lin walked through the door and she looked super stressed. 

"are you okay?" i ask. "im fine" she sighed. i stood up and sat on my desk. she walked over to me and stood between my legs.

"zuri wake up"

lin pressed her lips on mine and ran her hand up my thighs. our tongues fighting for dominance.

"zuri! wake up!" my body was shook awake and i quickly popped my head up. my head was sweating and i didnt feel good. "are you okay?" she asked. "im fine. just- just a nightmare." i say. "okay then.. we have somewhere to be so, come on." she said. i stood up and followed her outside. "so where are we going?" i ask. "kyoshi bridge. theres a man on top of it" she said. "oh" was all i said. "im gonna take my motorcycle, ill get there faster" i say taking my keys out of my pocket. "im coming with you" lin said. "cant you take your car?" i ask. "nope" i roll my eyes and get on my bike. "fine. lets go" i say. she got on the back of the bike and we left.

"i need you and some other officers to go up there and get him" lin said. "you know thats dangerous right?" i ask. "if anything youll land in water" she said. fine ill go." i say walking over to the other officers. "you 6, come with me. chief said we gotta go up there and get him." i say. "thats dangerous" one of them said. "thats what i said" i said. they all sighed and half walked up the other side and half walked up the side i was on.

"come down immediately. or we will be forced to take action" i heard lin say over the megaphone.

"stay back! im dangerous" the man said. one of the officers went to grab him with his metal ropes. the man swung his arms out making us all fall of the sides. "damnit!" i yelled. as i was falling, i moved my arms upwards making the water wrap around my feet. i balanced on the water and bent it so it would take me back to the bridge.

"i told this was dangerous chief" i say. she rolled her eyes and watched as the other men landed back on the road.

korra ran and flew up there to the man. i watched as the two talked. im assuming korra is trying to calm him and give him advice. she reached her hand out and the man tried to grab it but he slipped. korra caught him before he splat all over the ground. tenzin walked over to them for some reason.

an officer moved a road block out the way and the president walked through. "youve gotta be shitting me" i say. "what?" lin asked. i turn her around and she saw the president. she sighed and rubbed her face.

the phone rang and picked it up and put it to my ear.

"hello?"
"no fucking way."
"yes! of course i will! ill be there soon"
"okay bye"

i jumped up from my desk and ran to my door.

"mako!" i yell. "what?" he said peeking his head around the corner of the wall. "is chief here?" i ask. "i dont think so" he said. i walked out my office and closed the door. "do me a favor will you?" he hummed. "tell chief ill be back tomorrow, i have somewhere i need to be" i say. "where are you going?" he asked. "to see someone" i say. "oh okay, um, see you tomorrow then?" "yep. if chief needs me tell her to call me" i said. he nodded and i left.
