2.Beginning of frienships

Katerina's POV:

It was finally summer and also one week before school started. I was really excited to go shopping for what was necessary.

During that period of time, we had moved to london where my parents contacted some of their old friends at school. Today we were going with them to some place called Diagon alley.

As expected, i woke up earlier than ever to make sure my appearance was perfect. I took a 30 minutes shower to insure i was clean, brushed my teeth, straightened my extremely long hair and finished it off with my outfit.

I went down and decided to make breakfast for the day.
I made pancakes with strawberries cuz it was the only thing i could make.

I heard my parents come down after i had set the table and we all sat down.

"Cuando nos encontramos con tus viejos amigos ?"
( When are we meeting your old friends ?)
I asked as they both kissed my cheeks and sat across from me.

"En aproximadamente una hora." (In about an hour.)
My ma answered as she tasted my food.

"This is amazing! I guess you finally learned something from your pa." My ma complimented, as she looked between me and pa smugly.

"It's not my fault you turned out a horrible cook." Pa argued. I laughed as they continued the exchange.
I looked at the clock and noticed 15 minutes already passed.

We all finished eating and headed out to our fire place.
My parents had explained yesterday that it would take us to Diagon alley by stepping into it and dropping powder while saying the name of the location we were going to.

When we got there, i was surprised by how many witches and wizards there were.

We went into a shop called Flourish and blots and the first thing that caught my attention was the groupe of adults and kids my age in a corner, glancing anxiously at the door.

Once we entered, i heard i squeals coming from the female adults as they came running to hug ma. The males also went to greet pa as they all exchanged greetings.

I glared at the man with lons platinum blond hair, as he accidentally hit me in the shoulder with his cane. I had to admit, he kinda reminded me of Elsa from frozen.

Me and the other kids, which i noticed were all boys, stood awkwardly as we watched the exchange.

When the adults FINALLY finished their overly dramatic greetings, Ma looked at me and said.
"This is our daughter, Katerina." I offered all of them a smile, and the adults introduced themselves as:

The Malfoys

The Notts

The Berkshires

Mrs. Zabini

I noticed Elsa which turned out to be Mr. Malfoy glaring at me. And one thing i could not take, was being looked down on or disrespected.

I looked at ma for confirmation, who also seemed to notice what he was doing since she raised her hands and smirked at me.

As the boys were going to introduce themselves, i cleared my throat, making everyone look at me.

"Perdon, but i couldn't help notice you glaring at me." I said, smiling sweetly at Elsa.
I could feel the other's surprise by my accent as neither of my parents had it, since they were raised in the U.K.

"I was not glaring at you, and it is quite insulting that you assumed so." He responded, tuning his nose up.

"The my intentions of insulting you have succeeded."

"Excuse me ?"

"You're excused."

"Who taught you to talk back to a man ? That is extremely disrespectful."

"My mother. And if i'm correct glaring at someone without a reason is also disrespectful."

"I was merely looking at you, not glaring."

I chuckled softly. "Whatever floats your boat, princesa."

"That's enough from you two. Let's get on with our day." Pa said, sending me a quick wink, before we all went together to get our supplies.

Ma came up and whispered in my ear. "Esa es mi chica."
(That's my girl).
Before going back to pa's side, glancing over her shoulder at me and smirking. I sent her a quick air kiss and wink.

The day went by as if nothing had happened, i kept mostly to myself as i figured i'd get to know the other's at during our time at hogwarts.

When we got home, i was so tired that i went to bed after i changed my clothes immediately.
