[Meanwhile, the Avengers mingle at the party]

[Anastasia walks out of the hallway, dressed up for the party. As she walks through the open space she gets stares from the other guests, hearing bits of questions and compliments of who she was and how beautiful the tween was.]

"You pull quite the attention Ana." Bucky tells his daughter. "Well I doubt people wouldn't be surprised to hear I was a super intelligent kid who got offered an internship under Uncle Tony." Anastasia replies.

[Anastasia makes her way to the bar where her mother was.]

Natasha Romanoff: [she smiles seeing her daughter] Quite the entrance you made. Thought about your cover story? [she hands her a Shirley Temple]

"Why would you need a cover story?" Haven asks. "We didn't want anyone to know I was the daughter of an Avenger yet, specially the Black Widow, so I had to come up with a cover story." Anastasia says.

Anastasia Romanoff: [accepting the drink] Thanks. Just thought I'd say I'm an intern at Stark Industries and that I was offered the position because I'm a super intelligent kid. Not really a shocking thing anymore.

Natasha Romanoff: [chuckling] Well I won't hold you here. Go have fun.

[Anastasia smiles. She takes her drink and heads to speak with the others]

James Rhodes: Well, you know, the suit can take the weight, right? So I take the tank, fly it right up to the General's palace, drop it at his feet, I'm like, "Boom! You looking for this?" [Stark and Thor just look at him blankly] "Boom! Are you looking..." Why do I even talk to you guys? Everywhere else that story kills.

Thor: That's the whole story?

James Rhodes: Yeah, it's a War Machine story.

Thor: Well, it's very good then. [he laughs] It's impressive.

Draco snorts. "What kind of story is that?"

"A very interesting one." Rhodey tries to defend.

James Rhodes: Quality save. So, no Pepper? She's not coming?

Tony Stark: No.

Maria Hill: Hey, what about Jane? Where are the ladies, gentlemen?

Tony Stark: Well, Miss Potts has a company to run.

Thor: Yes, I'm not even sure what country Jane's in. Her work on the convergence has made her the world's foremost astronomer.

Tony Stark: And the company that Pepper runs is the largest tech conglomerate on earth. It's pretty exciting.

Thor: There's even talk of Jane getting a... um, uh... Nobel prize.

"Fighting on who has the better girlfriend? Really boys?" Pepper raises a brow. "You have no say. I stood up for you." Tony responds.

Maria Hill: Yeah, they...they must be busy because they'd hate missing you guys get together. [Maria mock coughs] Testosterone! Oh, excuse me.
