Hayley decided that this family needed a therapist. And that the therapist would need their own therapist. But for now, she took on that role.

After dealing with Celeste, binding her soul to Sabine's body and then slaughtering her, she was a little bit tired. Haley was also very, very, confused. She had watched The Originals thoroughly enough to know that Hayley Marshall was not a witch. But if Hayley Marshall wasn't a witch, how the hell did she bring two originals back from the dead?

She needed to have a conversation with Talia as soon as possible. Well, after she ate, slept, and checked in with the house full of originals.

Hayley couldn't hear any screaming or fighting, which both reassured her and worried her. She figured after the short Mystic Falls reunion, they'd surely have arguments to settle. But when she walked back to their home, the siblings were just catching up on life. It truly hadn't been that long since they had seen each other, but they had only been reunited for a couple of days at the time.

"Hayley, welcome back." Rebekah greeted from the couch as she walked into the room. Hayley looked around, noticing how Rebekah and Kol sat next to each other, Elijah and Klaus on their own chairs and Finn remained standing. "Boy, greet the girl who brought you back from the dead properly."

Kol stood up first. "Kol Mikealson, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Hayley smiled at him, holding out her hand. "Hayley Marshall, I'm sure it is."

He chuckled, taking her hand, and tilting his head. "What are you?"

"Werewolf, as far as I'm aware." Hayley glanced down at their still connected hands, before pulling hers back.

"If you're a werewolf, how did you bring us back?" Finn asked from where he stood in the corner of the room. "

"I'm not exactly sure," Hayley told the eldest brother. "I have a theory, but I have to talk to someone to confirm it."

Finn simply nodded, taking in the information. Hayley watched as he glanced at the different doors around the room.

"Have they fed?" Hayley looked at Klaus for the first time since she got back. Klaus nodded, gesturing to the pile of empty blood bags on the table. "Elijah and Rebekah, why don't you two take Kol out for a snack? Maybe go a city over. We don't need to attract unwanted attention right now, I'm sure they felt the power of them coming back."

The siblings agreed and left. Now it was just her, Klaus and Finn. There was something off about Finn, and Hayley was determined to figure out what. "Finn, let's have a chat."

"Why did you bring me back?" Finn asked her, taking the seat she offered, electing to ignore his younger brother's presence for now. "I was finally dead, and I'm sure it would've been much less draining to have just brought back Kol."

"Finn, I'm going to be completely honest with you right now, okay?" Hayley held her hand out for him to take at his own time, which he did after a couple of moments. "From the moment I brought you back, I could feel darkness radiating off of you, so much anger. You have many dark spells that should never be cast wound around your soul. Essentially dooming you to eternal misery."

Klaus watched from across the room. The information didn't surprise him, not that Hayley confirmed it, but it sounded like something Esther would do.

"I'm..." Finn paused, thinking to choose his words. "I'm just stuck like this then? Bound to be depressed forever?"

"I can remove them, I think. I don't see why I couldn't." Hayley shook her head, then pulled out her phone when it buzzed. A text from Talia. 'You can.'. This was reminding her of Twilight now. "I can. It's probably going to hurt, though. Worse than any pain you have ever experienced before."

"Do it." Finn glanced at his brother, who looked relieved, before back at Hayley. "Please."

Hayley nodded, squeezing his hand before moving both to cup his head. She took a deep breath, preparing herself. She needed a nap after this.

Finn screamed as the cleansing started, re-routing all of the dark magic bound within him. Hayley held on tighter as the spell continued, refusing to let go until it had all left Finn.

Finally, it was gone.

Hayley stumbled backwards, being caught by Klaus, continuing to watch Finn after he had passed out. "Are you okay, Hayley?"

"Yeah." Hayley nodded. "Your mom's crazy."

Klaus couldn't help but chuckle, looking up as Elijah, Rebekah and Kol raced into the house.

"Is Finn..." Elijah trailed off, noticing his older brother on the couch, seemingly asleep, and Hayley looking exhausted. "What happened?'

"You missed out on me cleansing your big bro of all the dark magic that was bound to him," Hayley told him, standing up straighter. "It was truly such a fun experience, wish you could've all been here to experience it."

"We heard it," Rebekah told her. "We heard him scream."

"Well, it didn't exactly feel nice." Finn grumbled from the couch he was on.

"Finn!" Hayley exclaimed. "How do you feel?"

"I..." Finn looked down at his hands. "I feel free."

"Yay!" Hayley turned around and held up her hand, waiting for one of the siblings to high-five her. Kol took the hint and did. "Okay. I'll check in again at supper tonight, which we are having by the way. I'm going to go have a nap, it's been a long day."

AUTHORS NOTE

hey...

So it's been exactly 2 years since the last update for Little Wolf, where I said I was hoping to update consistently. This is a pretty short chapter, but you all deserve something.

My life has changed quite a bit since then. I graduated, aged out of dance, been in a long-term relationship and just recently signed with a modelling/acting agency. So yeah, life's been very different.

While I was gone, Little Wolf hit 200k!!! I want to thank you all for the love and support you have given this story (and my others) even though I've been gone. Though I haven't been updating, I would still go through and read the comments from time to time.

I'm not going to promise consistent updates because I don't know if that's something I'll be able to do. I am hoping to get back into the habit of writing though, so hopefully more chapters across both accounts!

As always, let me know what you thought of this chapter, all feedback is appreciated! I'm always open to suggestions on what you want to happen in my stories, and you can send ideas through pms or comments!
