The yacht began to slow at the port right outside the holiday home the King had owned for a fair few years.
It was a beautiful, well-decorated bungalow just 2 minutes walking distance from the beach, and the view was something many people from around the world would travel to in an instant, just for a moment's glance.
The couple had just arrived in Italy, a crowd of people on the shore, waving flags and shouting greetings as they waved. Jane was in awe of the cliffs, perfect for diving into the ocean with. She stood on the deck of the ship, her hands on the metal bars stopping her from going over the edge. The princess waved to the crowd of people, a smile on her face as she did so, earning a large cheer from them all.
Max appeared from below deck, climbing up the stairs and squinting slightly as the sun caught her eye. She heard another cheer from the crowd as they saw her, and she smiled as she saw the princess.
She walked over and wrapped her arms around her waist, resting her head on her shoulder. "Good afternoon, beautiful." She murmured as the time approached 5 pm. It had been nearly 3 hours since the two had married, and finally, they had reached their honeymoon location.
Jane smiled and turned around, Max's hands still on her waist as hers wrapped around her neck. She pulled her down for a kiss before pulling away and glancing at the ocean once more.
"Isn't the view gorgeous?" She grinned.
Max didn't tear her eyes away from the princess, "Absolutely breathtaking." She smiled, enjoying seeing her wife so happy like this. Oh, and also enjoying calling Jane her wife. She knew she would never tire from it.Jane looked back at her and blushed as she realised Max had been looking at her the whole time.
"Be quiet." The princess chuckled, hitting her arm playfully. "But look, we're about to stop."
Max turned to face the incoming beach, and nodded. "Mmm, I wonder what there is to do here."
"We can do so many things here, plus we have a whole week." Jane reminded her, excited for their honeymoon.———
Tom and his gang hid beneath the surface at Aveington, growing more and more impatient with each passing day.
One of the men came back after using his binoculars, and shook his head. "No sight of the princess or her guard."
"God damn it!" Tom shouted, "We're not allowed back until she's dead, do you understand?! We need to find her before we all starve down here!"One of the younger boys sighed, exasperated, "Why don't we just go back? We can tell the Princess Rose that she's fled this wretched country."
Tom's eyes immediately met his, and he walked towards him, a threatening finger in his face. "Do you want to be executed, huh?! Did you not hear the Princess' orders?! We are not to lie, nor give up! If any of you are no longer willing to serve Hurdigrand, I suggest you leave now!"
He looked around but none of the men left, too afraid to stand up for themselves against Tom.
He scoffed, "That's what I thought. Now everyone sit down, and now we wait."

Max, using the key the King had given her before they had left, opened the door of the inviting holiday home. The door swung open and the couple were immediately greeted with a warm setting. The couches were a light beige and the floor was a cool wood, which is just what they needed in this hot Italian heat. The walls were painted white and it was all one floor, each room having a small but distinct pop of colour.
"Woah..." She said, shutting the door behind them before looking around.
"Let's have a house tour!" Jane suggested, grabbing Max's hand as they both went around the bungalow, becoming more and more impressed as they entered each room.
"The King sure does know how to buy holiday homes." The guard murmured to herself as they entered the final room, the master bedroom.Immediately Jane jumped on the bed, grinning as the soft mattress cushioned her. "Wow, we've got to get one of these back home." She commented, lying down as Max joined her.
"I agree." She sighed, finally feeling like she could relax properly now."But... we have no time to waste." Jane said suddenly, sitting up. "Supposedly there's a town only 5 minutes walk away from here." She looked at Max who had her eyes closed on the bed. "Are you hungry?"
"Very." Max replied, now thinking of all the foods they could try at the local restaurants.
The Princess smiled, "Let's go then."A/N: ✋😔🤚
