Princess Rose knew she had to take the throne in order to get revenge on her father. He had left her and her mother once Jane and Will had been born, never once returning.
It was all Jane's fault. She took her father from her and for that she'd never forgive her. They had met once by accident many years ago at a festival used for generations as a gathering for both nations, but didn't know each other by relation at that point.
She had always been favoured, she was going to be Queen of Aveington, a gorgeous country with vast landscapes and lush meadows. Meanwhile she was expected to stay in Hurdigrand, the land tarnished after years of neglect and mistreatment. The air was polluted, the days grim, the nights haunted by the sound of wolves hiding in the shadows of the forests. She was going to get revenge, she was going to claim Aveington as her own. If Jane had to die in order for her to reach that throne, so be it. Blood-related or not, nothing would get in her way.

A month or so had passed, and so far Nancy's pregnancy was going smoother than she had initially expected. Yes, she had woken up feeling nauseous some mornings, but after some fresh air or perhaps just some water she was back feeling normal.
Jonathan had been keeping a close eye on her, making sure she was always near a bathroom in case of an emergency and getting whatever she needed or even craved at that moment with no arguments. He had always been calm and quite introverted compared to his siblings, but that's what had made Nancy fall in love with him. She yearned for someone her soul could relax with, someone who would know exactly how she felt with no words needing to be said. A silent understanding between two lovers.

Of course, Jane was fast asleep as always while everyone in the palace was awake preparing for the day to begin. Max had crept out of bed an hour or so earlier, eager to train not only herself but the King's army due to the potential threat of an attack still being very much possible at any moment.
Unfortunately Nancy had found her, and knocked on the door before slowly opening it, peeking her head inside the door. She saw the princess still fast asleep, shaking her head.
"Jane, you must wake up!" She said, opening the curtains, "It is already 7:15 am!"
"It's only 15 minutes later than usual Nancy." She mumbled, "Where's Max?"
"She's already awake, as you should be. She is outside with the King's army. Why, do you wish to see her?"
The Princess shook her head, slowly sitting up. "No, I shall see her later."
"Okay." Nancy nodded, going towards the door, "Do not fall back asleep Jane." She warned before leaving the room to give her privacy.
"I won't." She nodded as the lady shut the door, immediately lying back down.
"Jane, get up!" Nancy exclaimed from outside the door, knowing the heir like the back of her hand.———
Max walked inside as Jane and Will returned back from their aid to the town, thinking about what her wife had been talking about. Every night since their short talk she had dreamt of raising a child with Jane, dreams of either a girl or a boy. If she was ever blessed with the opportunity to be a parent, she had made a vow to herself to be more of a parent then Neil ever was, to keep her child safe and love it unconditionally until the day she died.
"Max? What is it you wanted to speak about?" Jane asked her, sitting up in her bed as the sun set from outside the window.
"Ever since you told me about it, I haven't been able to get it out of my mind." Max told her, desperate to turn her dreams into reality.
"Ever since I told you about what exactly?" She furrowed her eyebrows, confused.
"About wanting to have a child." She noticed the way Jane's eyes lit up, "I've been thinking about it and dreaming about it even during the day. I want to have a baby with you Princess, of course if you still want to-""Yes." Jane replied without hesitation, "I want to. I haven't been able to get the thought out of my mind either."
"Yeah?" Max smiled, refusing to hide it anymore, "You're 100% sure?"
"I've never been more sure of anything in my life." The Princess assured her, intertwining their hands.
The guard looked down at their hands, lifting Jane's hand to her lips, placing a gentle kiss on her knuckles. "Do you want to..." She drifted off."Do I want to what?" Jane teased, a playful smile growing on her lips as she let go of Max's hand, slowly moving her hand closer to where Max's bulge was growing.
The guard looked down at her hand once more, swallowing hard as her fingertips brushed against her trousers, subconsciously lifting her hips ever so slightly to meet her hand, trying to stop herself in order to preserve the Princess' dignity. But Jane didn't care about her dignity let alone prioritise it in times like these, and rubbed her hand against Max's hard erection, hearing a soft groan leaving her lips. She smirked, getting up from the bed and walking over to the door, locking the door and closing the curtains. Walking back up to the bed, she turned the lamp on and felt Max's eyes glued on her until she sat back down, her hand touching her abs. "Tell me Max." She continued, a small smile on her face.
"Do you want to try... for a baby?" Max finished, her pupils dilating.
Jane chuckled, the sound music to her wife's ears. "Yes. Right now."
She grinned, standing up and gently pushing the Princess down to lie down comfortably on the bed. "Then just relax, beautiful." She whispered, slowly unzipping her dress.
