I wondered out in the woods.
I was homeless.
My only friends were animals.

I played in the rain, stepping on tiny puddles because I loved the way the glittery waters splashed.
Then I heard someone walking through the bushes. I panicked and look over in alarm.

It was a girl, she was the same age as me.
"Hello"
She said to me.
She had grey flowy hair that is styled,
matching grey eyes that could pierce your soul.
A stoic looking face that could turn anyone into stone.
She was pretty.

I blushed as I waved,
"Hi!"
"You not from around here aren't you?"
"Y-yes..." I squeaked.
"Hm. If Ms. Constantine, Madame Z, or my teacher find out about you, something bad may happen." She says more to herself than me.
"Luckily, I don't really like them, so your safe."
I stared.
"So what's your name?"
"(name)"
"Do want to be my first friend from the outside?"
"S-sure..."

........

It was raining outside today, the lovely sound of the raindrops pitter patting sounded weirdly nice to hear.
It was soothing.
I smile at my reflection on the raindrop-covered glass from the inside.

I proceeded outside to my customers, I didn't want to keep them waiting.
As I reached outside, I saw...
A floating, talking apple? Talking to what it seemed like nothing.

I try my best to ignore the weird sight ahead of me, and hand them their food.
"Thank you madam! I really need a snack after a wild goose chase!" An invisible person(?) thanked me.
"This APPLe is thankful for your food." The floating apple followed after.

"Of course! You're welcome, my dear customers!" I try to sound nice.
"There she is!" A familiar faint voice called out from afar.
"AH shit! She's found us!"

Two figures come into view, and I finally see them. My dearest friend (and crush), Vertin, and one of her friends, Sonetto!
"Oh haha! Hello Vertin! And Ms. Sonetto! It's so good to see you again!" I greeted them both.
"Hello (name)." Vertin smiled a little at me.
"Greetings, Miss (last name)" Ronetto said after Vertin.

Vertin's POV:

My smile vanished in a millisecond once I remembered the actual reason why I was here in the first place.
"Regulus, I know your there, you've used invisibility to hide from us, please do not be afraid."

Regulus started getting cocky and decided to pick up a fight with Sonetto and I.

......

The fight ended up with us winning and Regulus flat on the floor.
(name) was watching all of this play out.

The rain started reversing from the ground.
I gasp, the 'Storm is about to start.'
I look over to (name), no...she's human.
She glanced at me and asks, "What's going on?"
I don't answer.

Sonetto stared at me once she knew my tactics.
"I need to go back—"
And she left.
I ran over to (name), dragging an unconscious Regulus and a floating apple inside the cafe.

No no no no no....
(name) asks me again once we entered the cafe, "Vertin, what the hell is going on? Why is the rain reversing back to the sky?"
I hug her tightly.
"Hey, what's going on? You know you can tell me, right?"
I finally answer.
"It's the 'Storm', (name).
The 'Storm' will reverse you all, which means y-you will...reverse t-too...!" I started sniffling, getting out of character.

"Which m-means that I-I'll die?"
"Y-yes...I'm so so s-sorry..."
She stares in fear, contemplating what to do next. Then her fear vanished and turned into sorrow instead.

"Oh Vertin... don't you remember that day, where we first met...in the woods....I really thought you were pretty, with that stoic face of yours...but look at you now, spilling out your emotions on me, it truly is a miracle..."
She says while smiling.
I smile too, tears threatening to spill out of my eyes.

"I have something to confess Vertin..."
There was black fluid and rubble was floating around us.
"Yes (n-name)? You can t-tell me anythi-ng—"
"I love you."
The buildings started reversing.
"I love you too..."

"Please, don't forget me."
"I w-wont!"
"Good...keep this, as a memory of me"
She gives me her (prized possession).

"Kiss me, just this once Vertin, it is my last wish to you."
"A-anything"
I wasted no time as I leaned over to her lips as I kissed her softly; this was the first and last kiss I will ever give to anyone.

Once I leaned back I heard her say her last words, "I love you, my dear."
Then she vanished, as if she never existed.
"I love you too, my love..." I whispered to nothing.

This is REALLY long at least for me,
This is also my first time writing Angst so yeah....
