Mia gathered her courage and decided to tell Ava and Lily about her diagnosis. She found them in the living room, but to her surprise, they were having a heated argument. She stood in the doorway, her heart pounding as she listened to their angry words.

The argument between Ava and Lily continued, their words growing more heated.

"We can't just stand by and watch her suffer, Lily!" Ava exclaimed, her voice filled with frustration. "We need to do something. We need to help her!"

"And I agree, Ava," Lily retorted, her voice equally heated. "But we can't force her to do something she doesn't want to do. We can't make decisions for her. She has to be the one to decide."

"But what if she's too scared to make the right decision?" Ava asked, her voice filled with worry. "What if she's letting her fear cloud her judgement?"

"And what if we're the ones letting our fear cloud our judgement?" Lily shot back. "We're scared for her, Ava. I get that. But we can't let our fear dictate our actions. We need to respect Mia's wishes, no matter how much we disagree with them."

Mia stood in the doorway, her heart heavy as she listened to their argument. She felt a pang of guilt, realizing that her situation was causing a rift between her two friends. She decided then and there to keep her diagnosis a secret, not wanting to add more fuel to their argument.

She had never seen Ava and Lily argue like this before. It shocked her, left her speechless. She felt as if this was a sign from the universe, warning her not to tell them about her diagnosis.

"Mia," Ava said, noticing her standing in the doorway. "We... we didn't see you there."

Mia gave them a weak smile, deciding to keep her diagnosis to herself for now. "It's okay," she said, her voice soft. "I... I just came to check on you."

After their heated argument, Ava and Lily were left with a tense silence. They both felt guilty for letting their emotions get the better of them, especially in front of Mia.

Mia, on the other hand, felt a heavy burden on her shoulders. She wanted to lighten the mood, to ease the tension between her two friends. But she also knew that her diagnosis would only add to their worries.

"Guys," Mia finally said, breaking the silence. "I... I appreciate your concern. I really do. But I think... I think we all need to take a step back and calm down."

Ava and Lily looked at Mia, their expressions softening. They knew she was right. They needed to put their differences aside and focus on supporting Mia, not arguing with each other.

After calming the situation, Mia decided to leave Ava and Lily alone for a while. She needed some time to process her own feelings, and she figured they needed time to process theirs as well.

"I... I think I'll go for a walk," Mia said, giving Ava and Lily a small smile. "I need some fresh air."

Ava and Lily nodded, understanding Mia's need for some alone time. "Take care, Mia," Lily said, her voice filled with concern. "And remember, we're here for you, no matter what."

With that, Mia left the house, her heart heavy with the secret she was carrying. She decided not to tell Ava and Lily about her diagnosis, not wanting to add to their worries. She would carry this burden alone, at least for now.

As the day turned into night, Ava and Lily started to worry. Mia had not returned from her walk, and they had no idea where she was. They tried calling her, but her phone went straight to voicemail.

"Where could she be?" Ava wondered aloud, her voice filled with worry. "She's never been gone this long before."

Meanwhile, Mia found herself at the local park. She sat on a bench, her gaze fixed on the distant city lights. She felt a mix of emotions - fear, guilt, sadness. She didn't know how to handle her diagnosis, didn't know how to face her friends.

As she sat there, lost in her thoughts, she didn't notice the time passing. She didn't realize how late it had gotten until she looked at her phone and saw the missed calls from Ava and Lily.

As Mia sat in the park, lost in her thoughts, she suddenly noticed her vision start to blur. She blinked, trying to clear her vision, but it only seemed to get worse. She felt a wave of panic wash over her, her heart pounding in her chest.

She reached for her phone, her hands shaking as she tried to dial Ava and Lily's number. But her vision was too blurry, and she couldn't see the screen properly. She dropped her phone, her breath coming in short, panicked gasps.

Meanwhile, Ava and Lily were growing more and more worried. They had tried calling Mia multiple times, but there was no answer. They decided to go look for her, their hearts filled with worry.

Mia sat on the park bench, her heart pounding as her vision continued to blur. She felt scared, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios. She tried to calm herself down, to slow her racing heart, but it was difficult.

Meanwhile, Ava and Lily were driving around the city, looking for Mia. They checked all her favorite spots, but there was no sign of her. Their worry grew with each passing minute, their minds filled with fear.

"We need to find her, Lily," Ava said, her voice filled with worry. "Something's not right."

"I know, Ava," Lily replied, her voice equally worried. "We'll find her. We have to."

Ava and Lily found Mia in the park, looking lost and disoriented. Her eyes were unfocused, and she seemed to be having trouble seeing. Her hand clutched a piece of paper tightly.

"Mia!" Ava called out, rushing to her side. But Mia flinched, her eyes wide with fear. "It's us, Mia. It's Ava and Lily."

Mia seemed to relax a bit, recognizing their voices. Ava gently took the piece of paper from Mia's hand, her heart pounding as she read the diagnosis.

"Mia..." Lily whispered, her voice filled with shock and worry. "Why didn't you tell us?"

As Ava and Lily tried to comfort Mia, they noticed her squinting, her eyes unfocused. They exchanged a glance, a new wave of worry washing over them.

"Mia, are you having trouble seeing?" Lily asked, her voice filled with concern.

Mia nodded slowly, her heart heavy. "Everything's blurry," she admitted, her voice shaky.

Ava and Lily looked at each other, their hearts sinking. They knew this was a serious symptom, one that couldn't be ignored.
