I'm genuinely out of words to describe how I am feeling right now. Ever since I was a little girl I always had a dream to hopefully one day I would be racing in Formula 1. I knew how difficult it would be for me, but I didn't want to give up.
When my dream of racing in Formula 1 become a reality, that I have to thank @redbullracing for and I will always be grateful for you guys for giving me the opportunity. Now, all I could think about now was my ultimate dream which was to become a F1 world champion.
Today, I can say I have just achieved that.
I want to thank @mercedesamgf1 and everyone who is involved in this team, I wouldn't be able to do this without you all. @georgerussell63 it's been a great battle with you all season, we have pushed each other to the limit. Love you G, thank you for everything and we do this again next year, yeah?
Finally, I hope I have proven to everyone that women can race and do belong in Formula 1 and it's not a 'male sport'. I also hope I can inspire young girls that have the same dream as me. Fans were incredible today, thank you all for supporting me through out the season🖤
