Today was the day, the day of the final mission, the day that would decide who would, and who wouldn't follow their dream. All of the girls were dressed in the most beautiful outfits they were ever given. This was their biggest moment, their time to shine, they were at the peak of their journey from a fan to an idol.

All of them walked on stage, ready for their final performance as seven. Then the music started, all of them executed the moves perfectly, not missing the beat once, with voices as stable as they could be and a flawless stage presence, they looked like they had been idols for years now. When they ended the song all of that adrenaline rush was over, they realized that was time for the judges to give their feedback.

There were 2 judges, one of them being the CEO, who had been the main judge from the very beginning, and the other, Hyunji, one of the most famous idols out there. She was a member of the group HarmoniX, a K-POP girl group that was notorious for its 'loud music' genre.

"I just want to say before anything, that I am incredibly proud of you girls, you proved to me once and once again how capable all of you are, and from the 11 girls that didn't make it, you were the closest to an idol that anyone could get." All of the girls smiled and looked at each other, happy that they at least made a great final performance.

"Now I will give the word to Hyunji." The CEO said as he looked at the woman beside him.

"Thank you, Mr Choi." The woman thanked the CEO.

"I noticed how full of energy and charisma all of you were performing, with your bright mood, really bringing out the 'fun' in the song." All of the girls bowed a little thanking the judge.

"But I'm a little curious to know what you think about it too, Mr Choi." She turned to the CEO.

"The performance was at a level that could be compared to a lot of groups that performed for years." All of them bowed once more in gratitude.

"Yoonji..." The girl suddenly became nervous about what the CEO would say about her performance.

"I think of all members here, you were the one with the best stage presence." She released a sigh of relief thankful that it wasn't something bad.

"Hyerin" The room was filled with silence.

"You really proved to me today that you listen to the advice people give you, and how hard you worked both on your vocals and your dancing skill." You could say that the girl was struggling to keep her tears, she never thought she would be so acknowledged today.

"And Sooji, your voice was just amazing this performance, you really outdid yourself." Sooji just released the brightest smile she could possibly give, with a single tear rolling down her cheek.

"Soomin..." The room was filled with concern about what the CEO could say.

"I was a little disappointed in your performance today." All of the girls looked at Soomin who looked like she was about to cry.

"You didn't really stand out among the other contestants, I couldn't really see the spark there." The girl nodded while quickly wiping a tear that had escaped her eye.

"Jiho..." The room became tense once again.

"I saw how you looked concerned about some things in your performance, like looking where you were so you could get the formations right, or see if everyone was making the moves correctly. I think that really made me disconnect from your performance." The girl nodded while giving a weak smile to the CEO.

"Now I would like for you girls to go backstage so me and the staff decide the final members."

With that, all of the girls went backstage to wait for the final announcement, all of them were hugging and comforting each other, saying that everything would be alright. Not too long after, all of them were called on stage and stood in a line right beside each other.

"Now, the first confirmed member of our new girl group is..." All of the girls started to hold hands now that the announcement was going to start.

"Yoonji." The girl whose name was mentioned fell to her knees crying, she couldn't believe that her dream was finally becoming a reality, that she could work with her biggest passion.

"The second confirmed member of our new girl group is..." Their hands tighten, their grip being stronger than ever.

"Hyerin." The girl broke down, she started to sob uncontrollably, she didn't think she would make her dreams come true, or even place this high in the rankings.

"The third confirmed member of our new girl group is..." Some of the girls were hugging each other, especially the ones that weren't chosen yet.

"Jiwon." The girl mentioned was hugged tightly by Yoonji, who was beside her.

"The fourth member of our new girl group is..." Silence filled the room, everyone anxiously waiting for the CEO to announce who would it be.

"Eunmi." She already knew from all of her performances that she would get in, but still couldn't keep her tears to herself.

Silence once again filled the room, everyone waiting on who would be the next members to enter the group. The contestants remaining are Soomin, Sooji, and Jiho.

"Unfortunately we have only one spot left in the group." All of the girls looked at the three remaining in shock. Only one of their friends would be picked to be the last member of the group. Yoonji was in complete shock, it was like she saw someone die in front of her. She was extremely close with both Sooji and Soomin, not so much with Jiho, but just the fact that one of her closest friends wouldn't be able to make it was destroying her. Soomin was basically her best friend since forever, she was her first friend she met in this group.

Hyerin, who had been completely in love with Sooji for the longest time, was deadpanned, her face was frozen and she couldn't move, just the thought that she could not be selected made her incredibly scared. But it was not just for Sooji, but also Soomin, that has been her first friend in this group, she could trust her with anything, and that's why she jokingly called the girl her therapist.

"The last confirmed member of our new girl group is..." All of the girls hugged each other, in the hope that the announcement wouldn't hit as hard.

The three girls, Soomin, Sooji, and Jiho were all crying, but the one crying the most was Sooji, because she promised her mother that she would debut in Korea, and if she didn't, she would need to back to the U.S, because that was the only chance she had from basically begging.

"Sooji." The CEO announced, the girl fell to her knees crying, not being able to get her head back up. With the announcement Hyerin sprinted to her direction, giving her the biggest and tightest hug she ever received. The girl was still crying, not being able to comprehend that she was in the group. Then it hit on her, neither Soomin nor Jiho would be in the group, when she realized that, she let go of Hyerin and went straight to Soomin and Jiho, hugging both girls.

"Please promise me that you won't give up on your dream..." Sooji said between sobs. "Promise me that you keep in touch with us." Both girls nodded their heads in response.

"Pink promise?" She asked while lifting the pinky finger from both of her hands.

"Pink promise."
