Dylan and Mike walked through the Pizzeria, both of them in comfortable silence. The blondes mind was swimming with thoughts, wondering why this man beside her was so different all the others. Was it because he didn't scream and run the other way? Or was it, he looked at her with admiration and wonder. She didn't know.

Her own flashlight was in her hands as they swept their gazes around the area, she could feel Mike glance at her every now and again, which was starting to annoy her, "do I have something on my face?" She hissed, her face plates moving in irritation. He jumped at her sudden question, which made his gaze turn to her.

"No! No, sorry, I've just, I've never seen something like you before. It's all so new, so I'm sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable," Mike apologized, scratching the back of his neck with a nervous smile. Dylan's eyes widened as she turned her eyes to the front, her face beginning to feel warm as her fans worked overtime trying to cool her down.

"No, you're not making me uncomfortable." She shook her head, trying to regulate her breathing. "It's just, people usually run away in fear or tell me to stay away from them because they think I'm a monster." She turned her eyes back to him, her face plates opening up so he could clearly see the inner workings of her circuitry and wires. "I'm not a human Mike, so I don't blame them. It's in your nature to fear the unknown." Her face went back to normal as she shrugged. Mike only stared at her, his eyes looking at her with something her program couldn't understand.

"Well, I'm not most people, because you're cool," he nudged her with his shoulder, barely moving her, which she laughed at, the sound filtering through the air. It was pure joy in her voice. "So don't think any less of yourself, trust me, it doesn't end well," he chuckled as she nudged him back. He stumbled a bit,  catching himself on the wall as he grunted. Dylan looked at him.

"Sorry, I forgot your human," she chuckled nervously. It was easy to forget that humans were fragile.

"Don't worry about it, I'm fine," he grunted, lifting himself up so he was again taller than the blonde. She smiled up at him, her light shining at his face which made him squint.

"You know, from this angle, you're kind of cute. For a human," she shrugged with a teasing smile. Mike watched her walk away, his cheeks heating up. Was a robot really flirting with him so bluntly? Oh, what has his life become?

The human-robot duo both went their separated ways as the night went on, with Dylan making her rounds and Mike at the office looking at the cameras. She could feel the children messy around with him, entering his head like they did all the rest. She wished they'd stop doing that, but it was what they were meant to do she supposed.

A sudden thud from the office caused her to tense, before dropping the flashlight and running down the hall to where Mike was, worry evident in her face. She didn't know why she was so worried about him, she had just met him and yet she was worried, her mechanical heart bearing fast.

She dropped to her knees when she saw Mike on the floor groaning, his watch beeping, "Mike! Are you okay?!" She exclaimed as he shut the watch up, he slowly sat up, looking disoriented and confused, his eyes watching her face. He noticed her face plates lifting and lowering in anxiety, which he would have found cute, if he wasn't so confused about his dream.

"I think so." He said, leaning his head back with a sigh. Dylan sat down on her butt, putting a palm on her forehead as she kicked her foot out and kicked his leg with a glare, "ow!" He shouted, rubbing his leg as he met her gaze.

"Don't do that again, you scared the crap outta me!" She exclaimed, narrowing her eyes at the man before her. He avoided her glare, not wanting to meet her scolding expression.

"Sorry Dylan," he apologized. Dylan's eyes softened at him, it was unusual for a human to call her by her given name, instead of "thing" or "it" or "human-copy". It was refreshing to see someone who was open minded and didn't care what she was. Her heart hummed and her stomach fluttered.

"It's alright Mike, just please, be more careful. You could've seriously gotten hurt," she told him softly. He nodded his head.

"I'll try," he agreed, smiling at her slightly. Why was he so kind to her? She wasn't even human, shouldn't he despise her? When she refocused her eyes on his again, he was rubbing his head with a yawn. Her fans went overtime again, cooling her down as she stood up, her face heating up again. "W-well I'm - I'm going to ch-ch-charge up before to-t -tomorrow," her voice box glitched dramatically as she turned around, leaving Mike to look at her retreating form with a raised brow. Why was this happening to her? It was such a new and weird feeling.  Her heart hurt leaving him behind her, but she couldn't leave this place unless it was Vanessa who needed to take her out to repair her, because the tools here were rusty and outdated for her model. Maybe one day, she would finally be free of this place, but until then, she would have to endure this never ending nightmare.

note: not Dylan flirting with Mike. but I love her, she's such a cool character. Mike isn't scared of her, just intrigued about her.

Fun fact: he loves when her face retracts when she's showing him the inside of her face or when she's nervous, he thinks it's cute.

Just a reference to how her face is, it's like the sister location animatronics.
