It was too quiet, everyone could hear each others thoughts and whispers. So did I. The wind was blowing lightly, the two stood in front of each other, the silence was building up the tension, we all stood back from them, waiting to see what happens next. Mitch stood there with a calm face, surprised he did after what happened, the letter was clutched in his hands while Slayton on the other side had his fists clenched, and he was not smiling. It was the first time or in a while we haven't seen him smile, so this definitely meant he wasn't joking around anymore.
Mit:"Is that all you wanted to say? I'm surprise you didn't say it earlier."
Slayton was shocked. He didn't expect him to be so calm, neither did we. He wanted to say something, but Mitch cut him off as he spoke once again.
Mit:"You were always a hot head you know, wasting your energy out on rage."
S:" How would you know?"
As he shouted that out, there was a long pause, Mitch looked at him and sighed as he walk a few steps closer to him before he stopped. He got really close to him, if it was Slayton's perspective, he could of probably feel Mitch's breath on his face.
Mit:"Because we known each other for a long time-"
S:" Yeah! No shit! I was there when you came down here!"
Mit:"Could I please finish?"
There was another pause. Slayton slowly nodded his head and waited for Mitch.
Mit:" As I was saying, we known each other for a long time...Ain't that right Sora?"
Slayton's eyes almost popped out. His mouth was open as he stood there in shock. I looked to the others and saw a lot of confused faces, except for De Vinci. His hands were covering his mouth, or mask as he did too stare in shock. I was surprise also, how did Mitch know about this? From the looks of it, no one seemed to knew about Slayton's past except for me and De Vinci.
S:" How...How do you know this?! Who told you!?"
Mit:" I knew from the start! When I first meet you down here, you gave it away obviously."
S:" That doesn't explain how you know about it. And what's with the letter?"
Mit:" That's not important right now."
As he said that, he hid the letter behind him, still looking at Slayton. I could tell he was sad and tired, but for what reason?
Mit:" You've always been an idiot...Never catching on what's really going on."
Slayton was having a hard time answering that. His mouth open several times, but no words came out, he moved his body ever so little when he tried to spoke. He turned and looked at me for answers or back up. I raised my hands up, showing him I can't do anything about this, but maybe I shouldn't have done that. He looked at my hands and his eyes lit up, because right then, he walked over to me and grabbed my arm and dragged me over to where mitch was.
W:" Hey! What are you doing?"
S:"Touch his wrists.."
W:" I SAID TOUCH HIS WRISTS AND SEE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH HIM!"
Mit:" What are you doing?"
S:" Going to see what's really going on in that head of yours.."
Mit:" Wha- OH NO. NO, NO, NO!!"
Slayton grabbed Mitch's wrist with his free hand, he both had us in a tight grip, Mitch seemed dispirit and afraid and was trying to pull away, but he couldn't. I stood there off-guard and afraid as well.
S:" I want to know what happened and if you don't want to tell me, I'll have my friend do it for me..."
Dv:" Slayton..
Mit:" STOP!! LET ME GO!! NO!!
He brought my hands closer to Mitch's wrists, Mitch was screaming and begging for him to stop, but my hearing was cut out when I felt myself touch his skin. Everything went black again, I heard ringing in my ears, along with some of voices as well, and just like any time when I look into some ones backstory...there's always a line or sentence that starts the scene before the real story plays out....
"We could've been something...us...but...but you don't love me...you could never anyways"
( Sorry for the short chapter, but I'm already writing chapter 14. Thank you for reading this chapter! What I'm planning on is a few things, but still unsure for where I want this to go: )
Create a webpage or a website about this book ( Unsure)
Do three books, plus a prequel (Sure)
Do 26 chapters in total for all books (Pretty sure)
Start learning to animate (Really unsure)
And Kill off 2 characters (100% Sure)
This is what I'm thinking about, I'm not a 100%...But I'm almost 14 and 2023 is coming to an end, so will see how this all plays out, Bye bye for know :) Also IM turning 14 next week, So I'm a little excited!!~
