I felt my feet against the earthy path as I made my way to the shack, twigs and rocks pierced through my foot wear as I made my way in closer. The trees barely covered the sky, the wind was blowing softly, beer bottles and garbage were around the place, looks like someone had a party...great. Left it all here for me to clean up. Sora wanted me to meet him at the shack, for some reason. Says it was urgent, odd, he never texted me to meet with him somewhere, he usually just comes up to me in person, guess its pretty important if he asked on text. Muttering under my breath, I picked up the beer cans and garbage around the place and placed them all in separate piles. I stood up and turned to have my face inches from Sora's.

M:" AH! What the heck dude!"

I jumped and took a few steps back, my arms up and close to my chest. Sora let out a laugh that no one would find scary or harmless at the same time. As he finished he moved closer to me a little.

S:" Sorry, sorry. But, it was funny seeing you jump like that, I won't lie."

M:" Well, you did say 4:30 pm, meeting at the shack. But it's only 4:03...and were not at the shack, so..."

S:" We can say it here, no one's around anyways."

M:"...Okay, what is it you wanted to tell me?"

He let out a sigh and slumped his shoulders.

S:" My parents are taking me on vacation again."

M:" So?"

He was shocked my my words, to me it wasn't as a big deal, but to him, I guess it was the whole world.

S:" What do you mean so?"

M:" So. That's what I mean. Dude, you go every year, did you take my advice or not?"

S:" Yeah, if I did my father would smack me hard across the face if I told him no."

M:" So did you?"

S:" No dumbass! I didn't."

I sighed and rubbed my eyes before looking back up at him. I crossed my arms over my chest and let out another sigh.

M:" So I guess this means I'm doing the same thing again?"

S:" Yup."

M:" Fine by me, got nothing better to do anyways."

S:" Why'd you say that?"

I just shrugged his question off. I didn't want to tell him why or what, sure, he told me about his parents, his sister, and pretty much everything. Even if I told him the truth, I might say something that I'm not ready to admit quite yet. He kept looking at me for sometime, then sighed and turned around.

S:" Well, Ill head back early I guess, got to "pack" for the trip. See you in like...3 or 2 weeks Mitch."

M:" See you around sore eyes."

I cut my sentence off and looked at the ground, my face was warm a bit and my stomach was tight as a knot. Dammit! Can't say anything right around this guy. I mean, I always could when we were 5, what's the difference now? He seemed not to notice or bother by it and kept walking out of the forest. I finally let out a sigh and an gasp for air. I then notice I was alone, I thought it would also be best if I left the forest, my thoughts swarming in my head, and my heart beating 5 times faster per second.

That was close...

8 years before ( Now he's 5)

The clock in my room felt like it was getting louder and louder, the longer I stayed in here. I hummed a soft melody to myself, looking out my window and seeing the backyard. Dad was there, along with mum too, and Julius also. I rolled my eyes when I saw him down there instead of me. When I first heard I was getting a baby brother, I didn't now how to reach, but the worst part was when dad told me that on my birthday. I was only 2, but I sure wasn't happy. Then, when he was born, dad stopped giving me affection right after that. It was always then about Julius and how much of a golden child he was. They spoil him more then me, before he came around I was the center of attention, but then I was tossed away like trash. I walked away from the window and let out another sigh, It was too much of a nice day to be stuck inside, and I had friends waiting for me at the park. Opening my door, I began to move my way down the hall and headed for the stairs that lead to the main floor. Once I got there I decided to go outside, straight away. I didn't need to tell my "parents" where I was going, they wouldn't care anyways.
