#Imagine

(Just a quick little reminder thingy, Austin's like 21 in this imagine)

You're at one of Austin's concert with a very close, best friend. You have backstage passes and at that moment, you couldn’t feel better. You make fan girl noises to your best friend, grab her hand and the passes, and bolt through the door. You look around the busy backstage area and sit there amazed. You peek through the curtain and see 2,000 Mahomies already waiting on Austin to perform, sitting in the stands, cameras flashing and girls screaming. Then you feel a tap on your shoulder.

“You guys enjoying the view?” The anonymous boy says as he comes up behind you, his friends chuckling behind him.

“Yeah! It’s so cool!” You say slowly turning around, “I’ve never--- Oh my sweet Jesus!!!”

          “Yeah, I get that a lot…”

“I’m sorry, it’s just… I’m not even going to explain. Hi, my name’s [YN]! Oh, and this is my best friend!”

“Hey [YN], my name’s Austin.” He says with that giggle you love, “and these are my friends: Zach, Robert, Alex, and Tyler!”

You and your friend do that awkward laugh girls do when they’re talking to their crush, except for you, these boys were your everything and they didn’t even know it. You’ve loved them since you were 13, and here you are almost 20 and still fangirling over them like a 15 year old. It was DMATB. You met them. Personally. And you can’t even believe it.

“Nice to meet you guys!” You wake up from your thoughts and finally start talking again.

Dave comes up and calls Austin to get ready for his show. You and your friend are just standing there with the rest of the crew, hanging out, joking around, asking each other questions, and taking pictures together. Your friend wasn’t being her usual anti-social self; she was actually talking and joining in, even though she wasn’t really a big fan. The announcer came on shortly after and Austin runs out on stage and starts performing. The crew and you (with your bestie) walk to the side of the stage to watch Austin perform and to your surprise, you aren't screaming his name and fainting and crying and beating sweat like you would normally be doing. You're remaining calm because you are hanging with the crew and didn’t want to seem like you’d lost your mind. You sway to the music and cheer and dance around with the crew, you exchang numbers with everyone. You're basically the only 6 people backstage hanging out. Towards the end of the show Austin runs backstage, dripping sweat, barely able to breathe.

“Hey guys! Wanna come up?” He asks, out of breath.

You all say yeah in unison and run on stage with him. Your friend and you stop at the edge of the stage where you could be seen but just barely, you had stage fright and to see all of those people almost made your heart leap out of my chest. You stand there with your hands cupped over your mouths, looking around, while the crew is center stage with Austin, being their amazing selves. Austin turns around and looks at you and laughs and run over to you, beaming.

“You must be shy?” He asks, by this time he had taken off his shirt and is holding it in his hand, sweat glistening his abs in the light of the stage. You nod at his question, he chuckles and says, “C’mon.” Pulling you out further on the stage with him. You look back at your friend who was dying of laughter, pointing at you and looking around. You follow Austin further onto the stage, gripping his hand tight. The crew walks off to the side with your friend and Austin grabs his guitar and 2 stools. Your mind keeps going Oh my god, what is he about to do? He tells you to sit; You sit and don’t question it. He starts talking to the crowd while tuning his guitar. Your mind was racing; You can’t put any of his words together. Whenever he asks you a question, you just nod, hoping it's the right answer.

“So guys,” Austin starts, “this is a friend I met today. Her name’s [YN], and from what I hear, she’s awesome. She’s a bit shy so if she seems out of it, she probably is! But I’m gonna sing a song, she may know it, you guys too. So if you do know it, you should sing along.”

He looks you deep into your dark brown eyes and starts strumming on his guitar. You gaze into his beautiful hazel eyes, getting lost in the moment. Then you hear him say “You ready?” and like the zombie you are at the moment, you nod yes.

“The strands in your eyes, that color them wonderful, stop me and steal my breath.” He sings.

You almost fell off your stool because every time he sings I’ll Be you just about die. You look at the Mahomies in the crowd, screaming the words and just screaming in general. Then you look at the bottom of the stage and see Mama Mahone and Aunt Lisa recording on their iPhones with the biggest smile on their faces, which made you smile in turn. You nervously laugh and grin and try to keep a steady pulse because you are sure that Austin was trying to give you a heart attack. You would forever remember this moment. And just like that the song was over. You are about to get up and walk backstage when he grabs your wrist and says, “Wait, just one more song! I promise I won’t keep you here for long.”

The more he sang, the harder it was for you to contain your tears. You always have this tear blocker where no matter how sad a situation makes you, you never cry, especially around people. But his voice, singing to you, made you want to bawl your eyes out. He kept looking in your eyes singing which made it even harder to contain your tears, but after a little bit, the song was over. He escorts you off stage and kisses your cheek. You feel like no emotion whatsoever was coming across your face because you walked off the stage to your best friend and the crew and you just sit there, mesmerized. You can’t talk, you're so shocked. There were so many people. Your heart was racing. Then the crew crowd around you in a circle and sit down next to you, it’s like they could tell something was off about you. With them there next to you, calming you down, life feels like it was complete stand still. You don’t want this night to end.
