Incredible.
Sam finds Mon pretty damn incredible.
She has noticed Mon around the campus a few times before. How can she not ? The brunette is pretty hard to unseen.. But Sam never had any opportunity to go interact with the girl, until recently.
Plus Sam has a lot of things on her plate. She has a very happening life. Her classes, her trying to set up a business of the own, her friends, her grandmother , the club. With everything she remains pretty busy.. After all She has her grandmother to make proud.
Grandma, the only member in her family that has shown any kind of consideration to her.... whole existence, to be honest.
Not that her family was any bigger , it was only her father and older brother but she was near invisible to both of them during her growing yp years. Sam grew up pretty much of her own.
Despite of everything, Sam never blamed anyone. She couldn't, as with passing time she ultimately understood the family situation and why the two people around her was so distant from one another, from Sam. The person who bounds a family together and intact was missing from their life. A women, a wife, a mother!
Sam understood all that; but it doesn't mean she didn't crave for the attention from her father and brother. She was young and naïve after all.
Grandma is the only person who used to ask about her wellbeing, about her grades and marksheet, about her dreams. She made an effort to be there at all of her important events. But grandmother didn't live with them , then. It was only a big house with some scattered people, living around each other, not living with!
Sam somehow accepted that maybe she was meant to be a loner, until she met her Friends; Jim, Kade, Tee, also Kirk . Kirk was her Only childhood friend, that too because he was the son of one of her father's business partner. They met at one of their many business event and became friends ever since. They shared a special kinda bonding. Her grandma used to think that maybe Kirk and Sam will be the endgame. But that didn't happen, Of course.
She met the Other three at middle school when she moved her; to her grandmother's place, and to say her life changed. These people gave her the company she was craving for, her entire childhood. The Four musketeers has been inseparable since then.
Honestly they can be a real pain in the butt sometimes but still Sam can't deny, they have played a bigger role in building the Sam, she is today. Sam has been the quiet kid but after being friends with them she felt she finally found her people. That aspect helped Sam develop her present character, "The confident, sure and also bit cocky Khun Sam" .
It's a front basically; not to let anybody see what she has been through. Not everyone willing to keep up with that aspect of her life, so she simply doesn't let people in at the first place. The feeling of "not being worthy enough " or "important enough" has always been constant at the back of her mind. Maybe that is the reason why she's willing to work hard to be the best. Best in everything and maybe a little worthy of some people's precious time also.
Anatrakuls are rich per say, Okay very rich! So Sam has that financial support but still she wants to do something of her own, hence the business! And she's doing it with one of her best friend, which makes it way more special for her.
