The whole journey to the restaurant was silent with Mon fuming with anger, Sam could not say anything in fear that she would burst.. Reaching there, without any word Mon directly walks to Yuki and sits beside her. Sam sighs and just sits across her beside Jim and Kade.
Everyone of the gang looked among themselves, everybody felt the tension between them.
Yuki decides to break the tension, "You guys are late!" She turns to Mon, "Where were you?"
Mon answers without missing a beat, "Well Khun Sam's dear old friend showed up, that's why we're late!"
That peaks Jim interest, "Old friend? What old friend? Who do you have other than us Fussy? How dare you!" She pinches Sam.
"Ouw! Hey! Easy there." Sam complains.
"What is Nong talking about Fussy?" Jim glares
Sam sighs, "Nita showed up!"
Mon notices, all three of her other friends' faces change immediately. Great !! Of course her friends are aware about Khun Sam's 'Tiny little Thing'
Tee practically 'woo-hooed' on that, earning a glare from Sam. Still, Tee smirked evilly finding the perfect opportunity to tease Sam,
"That is not an Old Friend! That's rather a very hot 'friend' isn't it na Sam? Tell me, is she still 'the sexy senior' she used to be?"
That made both Yuki and Mon glared at Tee, but for different reasons of course!
Tee looks at Yuki, "Babe I was just curious!"
"Yeah I'll tame your curiosity!" Yuki says, pinching her.
"But I thought she moved to San Francisco!" Kade muses.
"Yeah, She did. She's just here for business purposes!" Sam says
"And how did you meet her suddenly?" Kade interrogates further.
"We were coming out of the bookstore when she saw and recognised me.. So she just came to say 'Hi' !"
"More than Hi !" Mon grumbles under her breath but Yuki was near her so she heard that. She gives her a knowing look.
"Of course she'd recognised you, Khun Sam!" Tee mocks Sam, chuckling.
Sam gives her the death glare.
But then, Mon watches Sam's eyes changing into something mischievous, "Oh Tee! You're still tight about how you didn't get the chance buddy !? Now I understand why you are still curious about her.."
"What!" "What?" Tee and Yuki says simultaneously. One is amused, another is surprised!
Sam just smirks exactly the same as Tee smirked before. Evil and full of mischief.
"What?" Yuki ask again
This time Jim starts talking " Well! You see, Nita was the campus crush of the year. She was like a dream to everyone. Both men and women were lining up for her, and in that queue you see right here," Jim points at Tee. "stands right at the front."
Yuki turns to Tee glaring, Tee gets so red in embarrassment.
Kades laughs, "Tee grumbled for weeks when Sam got the attention instead of her!"
"Oh yeah! I remember that!" Jim joins in Kades laughter too. They high fived. Clearly those two were getting a kick out of the situation, compared to the other four sitting at the table.
Sam takes a glance back at Mon but Mon doesn't look back. She was sulking and seemingly, so was Yuki.
"Oh!! So 'Sexy senior' right?" Yuki asks Tee, still glaring. She sits up straight, moving a bit away from Tee.
