"A drink?" I repeated the large man who was sat at my bar. "Yeah what have ya got?" He asked me, and I smiled. "Anything you want" I gestrued to the bottles.

"Your number" He spoke with such confidence, and I smiled. "Cute" I nodded. "That's what they tell me" He shurgged, and I narrowed my eyes, but I couldn't get the smile off my face.

"Listen, first drink is free casue you are cute, but no number. Ive got guys every day askin, but you're in a place like this" I pointed around the bar.

"What if I left then could I?" He stood up from the chair, and my lips parted. "What's your name?" I asked him, and he leaned on the bar. "Simon, yours?" His brown eyes catching the light as he looked at me.

"Wren" I pointed to the name tag and he nodded, now grinning himself. "First drink is free, nothing else" I told him, and he shurgged with a nod. He had the one drink, and I handed him a napkin with my number, and quickly walked to the back.
-
"When can we do this again?" He asked me, we both stood in front of my door. He had his arms crossed and I was fumbling with my keys. "Again?" I grinned and looked back at him.

"When ever you want" I shurgged. "Tomorrow" He spoke, and I laughed. "Really?" I asked suprised and he nodded. I stopped with my keys and looked up at him for a moment. "If you want" He tilited his head, and I blushed and nodded.

"I think I would like that alot, but I'm not seeing anymore horror movies" I pointed at him, and he chuckled. "Fair enough" He held his hands up.
-
There was a knock at my door, and I turned my head. I looked though the peep hole, and Simon was standing out there looking a little nervous as he rocked from ball to heel on his feet.

"Simon" I spoke as I opened the door, and he smiled as he saw me and went back to his normal crossed arm stance. "You just can't stay away" I hummed, and he only shurgged.

"Did you have any plans today?" He asked, and I looked at my watch. "I have a shift at 4" I told him. "Perfect, get dressed were goin out" He told me, and I nodded.

"Do you want to come in?" I asked him, and he paused for a moment, but then nodded. "Yeah, yeah" He rolled his shoulders and stepped inside my house.
-
I wiped my eyes as I stepped outside to have a ciggerette. My hands were shaking and I pulled my phone out to call Simon. "Are you alright, darlin?" He answered on the first ring, and I sniffed.

"Wren" He said my name, and I wiped my eyes. "Yeah I'm ok. I just wanted to hear your voice" I told him hosntly, and he was quiet for a moment. "I'm here. What happened?" He asked me, his tone already murderous.

"It was just a guy at work, he was a total dick. How is it my fault we don't carry some stupid beer that no one has ever heard of?" I threw my hand up and took a drag of my cig. I heard him chuckled lightly.

"What did he look like?" He asked, and I laughed wiping the rest of my tears away. "I just want to talk to you for a second, sorry I was all worked up" I told him, now feeling a little silly.

"Don't be sorry, getting a call from you is the best part of my day. When your crying is another story" He explained, and I smiled.

"Do you wanna come over tonight?" He asked me, and my heart fluttered. "Yes" I spoke, and I knew he was grinning on the other side. "Wonderful, You know where the key is, just shout so I know its you" He warned me, and I smiled.

I laid in bed with Simon, it was late at night, and for some reason my brain was not shutting off. I was a night owl now and forever, but this big babys bed time was at 7 no if ands or buts.

He had his usual deathgrip on me, like I was going to sneak out a window or somthing. "Si" I whispered, and he shifted in bed pulling me closer. "What is it?" His voice was just about a whisper, and it was to dark to see in here.
