Chapter 5

"So, what is your family like?" Optimus asked. "Well, my parents are really caring and loving. My grandparents worries a lot about everything. I have a few older cousins who's all already married. I have a few little cousins, they're still in elementary to high school. My older brother is already married, and he had his first child a few weeks ago, it's going to be my first time meeting his daughter. And I have 2 little brothers, and a little sister. Big family, yeah" I replied with a small chuckle.

"That sure is a big family" Optimus said. "Yeah. I can barely remember all their names" I chuckled a little, and looked out the window, as the cities, and towns, turned to grassy fields with houses showing up every few meters.

The familiar scene near my home. It was just a few minutes left before I arrive at my house. I see the beautiful forest near the road. The lakes, grassy hills, flowery fields, it brings back a nostalgic feeling.

I spotted my friend's house. Aina, my old friend. She was outside of her house, with her husband, and kids. She waved when she saw me through the window. I made a small wave, back, with a small smile.

"Is that your friend?" Optimus asked. "Yeah, my old friend, Aina" I replied. "She seems nice. Are you going to see her later?" He asked again. "If I have time" I replied again.

We drove for a few more minutes, before we reached a familiar, big, house. My home. It was on the top of a grassy hill, with a small path to go above. I saw my family's cars parked on the side of the road.

"Here's the house" I told Optimus. He slows down and stops in front of the house. I unbuckled and opened the door. "You want to come? There's no one around, and our house is pretty closed off, so you don't need to worry about staying under cover" I asked him. "How about your family? Will they not freak out?" Optimus asked back. "They all know about you. I mean, they don't know I actually managed to really make you, but they know I have been working on you for a while" I replied.

"I will come along, then" Optimus said. I nodded with a small smile, and got off. Optimus then transforms back into his robot mode. His transformation still as mesmerising as ever.

I walked up the path towards my parent's house. Optimus followed. His steps shaking the ground slightly, despite how hard he tried to walk softer.

My mom's flower bushes, and other plants were planted along the path, The rocky stone path brought back a lot of memories, when I used to help dad make it.

I continued to walk up, when I see my mom and dad waiting in front of the house. "Sage!" They said excitedly. "Mom, Dad" I called and ran up to them, giving them a big hug. "It's so good to see you again" I said while still hugging them. "It's good to see you not on screen anymore" Mom told me.

I chuckled as I let go. Optimus's footsteps were louder as he approached. I saw my mom and dad's surprised faces. "I-is that? Did you actually-?" Mom asked.

"Yes, this is Optimus Prime" I said with a small smile as Optimus knelt down next to me. "It is a privilege to meet Sage's parents" Optimus said to Mom and Dad. He's so formal...

"He is so lifelike... How on Earth did you make him?" Dad said, touching Optimus's feet in curiousity. Optimus looked at him in confusion, and then at me. I just shrugged.

I saw Ryan and his wife coming out of the house, carrying their newborn baby. "Hey, sis. Wow, you actually finished it" Ryan said as he looked at Optimus. "'He' not 'it'. Good to see you again. Is that your new baby? What's her name?" I asked, as I looked at the little baby with interest. "Her name's Liliana Kendall, or Lili for short" Ryan's wife, Diana replied. "That's a beautiful name" I commented as I slowly touched Lili's adorable, tiny, hands.

"You never told me your sister has an obsession with... that" I heard Diana said to Ryan. "Well, she is a weird one" Ryan replied. "Hey, I still managed to make him, though" I grumbled, crossing my arms. "Whatever, sis" Ryan rolled his eyes with a smirk.

I shook my head slightly. I saw Ted, Don, and Amy looking up at Optimus in awe. "Hey, Ted, Don, Amy" I greeted them. They all turned to look at me. "Sister!" They all said in sync and ran up to hug me. I hugged them back tightly. "It's so good to see you again" Ted said. "You actually finished it!" Don said. "I really miss you!" Amy said.

"I missed you all too. And yes, I finished him" I replied with a chuckle. "Is that big guy your boyfriend?" Amy asked out of nowhere. "W-what?.. Oh- uh.. No, I mean.. Uh...." I stuttered. They all broke away from the hug. "You like him, don't you?" Ted asked with a teasing tone and a smirk. "I.. No... I mean.. Maybe? But come on, I made him..."

"No! Don't tell me you haven't found a guy, yet!" Don said dramatically. "I don't. And why is that a surprise? I never had, and I don't think I ever will" I replied, crossing my arms. "You're sooo lonely" Ted said, pretending to make a bored face. "Uh-huh. I know" I said, before walking away to greet my cousins, aunts, and uncles. Optimus too, was busy with the other. I just chuckled as I watched my family interact with him. A small smile in my face as I saw what my creation has become. But the sad and confused feeling came back, again...

I sighed and tried to shrug it off. But I know it will return sooner or later...
