Time skip to tomorrow at the lookout , Rocky is the first pup to wake up . He started remove the bandages from his stomach and notice that his stomach is have recovered . He exit the spare bedroom and head outside of the lookout only to see Howie Roger Jones is drinking a cup of coffee which he brought from the coffee shop and Ryder have finished talking to someone through his pup pad .
“ Morning Rocky , I didn't know you were the first pup to be early this morning . ” said Ryder .
“ Morning and yeah , you know me . Wanted to get some energy before my checkup like you said . ” said Rocky as he giggle .
“ Good to hear . ” said Howie Roger Jones as he stare at him while drinking his coffee .
“ Listen Rocky , the doctor said that your checkup will be start on 12 noon . We have to get to the clinic at 11:40 a.m. . ” said Ryder .
“ What time is it ? ” Rocky ask Ryder .
“ 7:25 a.m. . You still have time left before heading to the clinic . ” said Ryder .
“ Okay . Oh , do you think I can go to my shelter and get my stuff ? I left something at my shelter close to the apartment alley . ” said Rocky .
“ Sure you can . When you're back , make sure to have breakfast . ” said Ryder .
“ I will . ” said Rocky as he is heading to his shelter to grab some things .
“ Ryder , I don't really trust that pup . ” said Howie Roger Jones .
“ Just stop thinking of Rocky trying to act like a bad guy . Besides , Rocky have trusted us . ” said Ryder .
“ Yeah right . ” said Howie Roger Jones as he takes a drink of his coffee .
Then , Zuma is the second pup to be woken up . He got out from his puphouse and went to the spare bedroom in the lookout to check on Rocky only to find out that he is not in the spare bedroom . He exit the lookout and saw Howie Roger Jones and Ryder talking . He walk up to them and ask about Rocky . Ryder say that Rocky is going to bring his stuff at the apartment alley . After listening to Ryder , he started heading to the apartment alley . When he arrives at the location , he found Rocky packing his stuff . He is also shock to see that the shelter is a bit rusty and broken . He walk up to Rocky while make the mix breed to turn around and notice him .
“ Hey Choco ... I mean Zuma , what are you doing here ? ” the mix breed ask .
“ I come to check out on you . Is this whewe you live ? ” the chocolate labrador ask after telling Rocky .
“ Yeah . Pretty cool , right ? ” said Rocky as he asks Zuma .
“ Cool ? Youw sheltew is vewy wusty . That woof have a lot of holes . ” said Zuma .
“ Your speech impediment is kinda funny . Yeah , I us a lot of materials around this place to build the shelter . I use the metal plate as my roof , it's very rusty and got a bunch of holes but it still help me to block the light of the hot sun . That's why I call it my home sweet home . ” said Rocky as he explains to Zuma .
“ Dude , it's a good thing that you'we staying with us unlike your home sweet home sheltew . ” said Zuma .
“ Yeah you're right . I've been staying in my shelter when I was a young pup . ” said Rocky as he sit on the mattress .
“ Weally ? ” the chocolate labrador ask the mix breed as he sit on the mattress .
“ Well remember what I said something that I don't want to talk about it when we first met at the lookout ? The truth is that I lost my parents when I was a little pup . My only company is my stuffed animal wolf that my mom gave it to me on my first birthday . I call my stuffed animal wolf . ” said Rocky as he shows the stuffed wolf to Zuma .
