The First Sabertooth Christmas ( Fairy Tail )

Christmas Eve Preparations

Emma's POV

I'm super excited today is Christmas Eve we get to open presents from our friends this evening. To bad Lucy decided to let me sleep in so I got up later then her and I was behind schedule. I grab the snow spell off my side table and leave the apartment skipping in to town to place the spell in fountain in the center of the town. It is right in front of the towering Christmas tree. On the way I pass by the merchant market and couldn't help but stop and see what was in all the booths.

I then saw a really cool looking statue of a black and red dragon I instantly thought of Rouge. It was 7 to 8 inches tall and it looked so cool I couldn't help but go and look at the display. To my shock there was severe different types of statues. Among the dragon was a pink and red one, gold and silver one, one made of metal, a sky blue and light green one, and a electric yellow and white one. There was also states depicting snow flakes, a gold key, books, a suit of armor, a fish that came in blue, red, and pink with hints black, a sabertooth tiger, a beer bottle, lighting, a snowman, a sword, a fire, a solid script pen, a guitar with a mic, a angle dressed as demon, a heart that looked like it was made of water, a kings crown one, a bag of gold coins, and one with the symbol for hospital. ( The one with the two snakes around the staff.) There were several more that reminded me of my guild members and Sabertooth's also. Those were all the ones that were laid out.

" Wow." I mutter to myself.

" Hello little lady." I look up to see the shop keeper. " Would you like to purchase a statue?"

" Yes I would like to buy all the ones on the table please." I say smiling. The man opens his mouth in shock, but starts to wrap them up a place them in boxes depicting what one was on a tag after wrapping them and then placing them in a bigger box.

" Excuse me miss." The man from the next booth says. " Would you like something to put those boxes in?"

" Yes please and thank you." I say giving a million jewel smile. At that he pulls out a large red wagon with sides on it and begins to place the boxes the other man was filling in to it. When that was done I pay for the wagon and all the statues and continue through the market.

Laxus has always told me I love to shop and I don't disagree ( The other guild members agree also. ) so when I see a costume booth I stopped and may or may not have picked up costumes for Rose, Minerva, Lucy, and my self for Christmas Day. At another booth I saw a really cute reindeer costume that Fro could wear and Santa hat, belt, and coat for Lector. At the same booth I saw several different colored Santa hats so I ended up buying a lot more then I expected. At that point the wagon was getting a bit heavy, but I shrug and continue my trek to the fountain.

Then I saw what I had be looking for. A sleigh that Santa uses with reindeer to pull it. I ran over and rented it for tomorrow morning at 10 to 12. So Sabertooth could go for a sleigh ride in freshly fallen snow that is saying the spell works. ' Crap I have to get to the fountain.' I yelled in my head in panic. The panic on my face most have shone because the man ended up giving me extra reindeer so I could pull the wagon and get to the fountain. He said it was because I had bought so much at the market and it was Christmas Eve. Plus he let me keep it and this is the best part it was a Shadow Card so he had no use for it anyway. ( Shadow Cards are like keys, but they contain weapons and animals.) I waved goodbye to the nice man as I rode Holly out of the market to the center of town.

" Wow this world is so neat!" Holly says in awe her eyes wide with excitement. "Is it always like this Miss Emma?" She asks craning her neck around to look at me and turns around to front to see were she was going.

" Not always Holly." I explain. Holly looks down in disappointment. I add seeing that she was not happy, " This holiday only happens in December, but there other holidays to like Thanksgiving, Easter, 4th of July, Valentines Day, and then Halloween ."
