Jisung ran into the hospital room, minho and Mr Kim were close behind him.
"Hii seungmin!" The squirrel like boy exclaimed at the sight of his long time friend. Minho quickly followed him he walked towards seungmin. Hyunjin moved over to give them some room.
"Hi, Ji-ji, hey min." Seungmin greeted back.
"Are you feeling ok, Minnie?" Jisung asked. Seungmin nodded.
"Better than ok, I'm happy to see everyone again."
"I'm glad, I was worried it was going to be one of those- forget all your memories, type of situations." Jisung said, shaking his head. Seungmin laughed.
"Nah, I couldn't imagine not remembering someone as dorky as you." He teased, causing minho to Snicker and jisung to gasp dramatically.
"Hey!?!"
"We're happy to see you too." Minho said bringing the conversation back to it's original topic.
"but uh I want to apologize-""For what?" Seungmin asked, raising his brow.
"Well...... y'know, it was my supply.....that you got high off of.." minho muttered, his eyes turned down towards the ground, unable to look his friend in the eyes. Jisung looked down at him, with a sad expression, quickly patting his back.
"Oh shut up min, it wasn't your fault. It's my problem, if I didn't get it off of you I would have gone somewhere else, it's not your fault." Seungmin said, reaching out to pat the olders shoulder.
"I'm still sorry.......I missed you man."
Seungmin smiled. "Yeah Min, I missed you too."
"Oh, um your dad's here." Hyunjin said, moving out of the way so his friend could see his father. All the boys looked to Mr Kim, waiting for his next action. He walked past hyunjin, nodding at him before standing in front of seungmin, next to jisung. Seungmin looked up at him, his smile now fading. His father let him get away with everything, it didn't matter who he hurt, how much money he lost, how many laws he broke. His father always made excuses for him, but this was different. He could've died, he almost did, and now everyone he loved hurt because of it.
"I'm.. sorry father.." seungmin said, trying his best to look his father in his eyes despite the overwhelming shame telling him to do otherwise.
"I'm very disappointed in you, Kim seungmin." Mr Kim said sternly.
Jisung pretended to cough nervously. The room was still and the air was thick with tension. Jeongin and hyunjin probably looked the most nervous out of the group, apart of them knew seungmin probably deserved a scolding but they knew it was going to hurt more coming from Mr Kim himself.
"I know.." the brunette said softly. Mr Kim shook his head.
"No, I don't think you do. Do you know what its like to have your only son almost die, to believe he was already dead?"
"No-"
"You're right you don't, and all of your friends, how do you think hyunjin felt, he's been doing things for you that my own brother's wouldn't do for me, and this is what you decide to do with your life?" Mr Kim said, angrily throwing his arm in the air.
Hyunjin bit the inside of his cheek. He knew Mr Kim appreciated him but it was eye opening to hear. It was true, he loved seungmin like his own brother.
