Beneath the classroom veil, I write, Of shadows lurking, out of sight, A Darwinian dance, survival's test, In hushed whispers, it's manifest.
Amidst the rows of desks and chairs, A silent war, no one declares, It's not the books, but sharp-edged knives, Cutting dreams to size, shaping lives.
The brightest stars can dim and fade, As whispered judgments cast their shade, The playground jungle, a world within, Where only the strongest hearts can win.
Innocence, once pure and bright, Battles for its precious light, The tender souls that bear the weight, Of this relentless, cruel debate.
Yet 'neath this veil, hope's ember glows, As hearts and minds dare to oppose, The darkness lurking, fight they must, For dreams that rise, not turn to dust.
In classrooms veiled, where battles brew, We glimpse a truth, forever true, For 'neath the classroom's shadowy shroud, Resilience grows from within the crowd, In this survival, strength's unveiled, Beneath the classroom's complex tale.
