Zephyra ran with a ferocity she didn't know she had. Past Trojan and Greek soldiers, past bodies and blood and death. No one paid her much mind as she bolted through the castle back to the courtyard.

By the time she arrived, four strong men had already lifted Achilles and were making their way out of the palace. The fighting was nearing an end, Troy razed almost entirely.

Odysseus stood beside her and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"He told me, on the beach, that he would never go home," Zephyra said. "How did he know?"

Odysseus pursed his lips. "His mother."

"Take me to her?"

"It would be my honor."
