CHEWING HER BUBBLE GUM, maya cat walked down the crowded hallways with her girls following from behind like lost puppies. the boys were admiring her beauty while girls waved and kept throwing compliments at her. but as expected, she was playing hard to get and that what made them love her more. while twirling a strand of her hair around her finger, she sat on her desk and rested her elbow on the table while scrolling down her social media accounts.
"OW MY GOSH GIRLS~ oikawa-kun just posted a new picture!"
maya just received a notification of oikawa's update, she squealed as the girls surrounded her and waited for the picture to load. and what they saw next wasn't a pleasant thing to see for them.
it was a picture of oikawa, iwaizumi and y/n. the setter was doing a peace sign and iwaizumi was glaring in the background while y/n was smiling and hugging a cat plush.
"what is she doing with oikawa-kun?"
one of the girls, aki, said as she zoomed in the picture. maya's blood was boiling, the more she looked at the picture, the more she felt like exploding.
"that BITCH."
maya slammed her hand on the desk which startled them. they knew it wasn't going to end well if maya gets angry.
"calm down maya-chan, we tried to do something but that guy iwaizumi is always with her."
maya's eyes widened and she lifted up her head at the mention of iwaizumi, a smirk formed on her lips as she turned around to face her girls.
"oh not for so long, she doesn't know who's she's messing with, i have the perfect plan."
"y/n-chan, wait for us so we can walk home together!"
oikawa waved at the girl with a wink before rushing to class. she giggled softly and waved back before turning to face iwaizumi.
"you're feeling better, right iwaizumi-san?"
y/n tilted her head to the side as she looked up at the ace, he kept assuring her that he longer needs to stay home since he feels a lot better.
"don't worry, I'm fine."
iwaizumi smiled and poked her forehead lightly which made her giggle, she slowly reached to touch his forehead with the back of her hand to check his temperature. he stiffened from her touch and his face turned into shades of pink.
"ehh?? iwaizumi-san you're still—"
he suddenly cut her off by pulling her hand away from his face gently and holding it. y/n looked down at their hands and her heart started pounding.
"that's because of you."
that was her turn to flush when he said those words, pulling her hands gently, she quickly apologized and ran towards her classroom.
"can't believe i just said that.. damn you and your flirting skills oikawa."
he sighed and shook his head before walking to his classroom, his cheeks still red from her soft touch.
the teacher waved at her students before quietly leaving the classroom, they quickly did the same and iwaizumi was the only one left. oikawa told him that he'll wait for him with the other members to have lunch together as usual but this time, they asked him if he could bring y/n with him.
the guys really loved y/n, they especially loved how she didn't become friends with iwaizumi just to get closer to oikawa, in fact, she would be the first one to do that. many girls approached iwaizumi in order to see and talk to oikawa, and that's what made him feel super insecure, he was afraid that y/n was just another one, but turns out she's the first one. the first girl who noticed him.
