“Promise not to tell anyone, Sung.”

Jisung nodded tentatively, he had notice how bothered Minho looked lately, and after some heavy prodding, the older finally gave in. Although it took him fifteen days to reveal there was actually a problem.

“Siwon started texting me again.”

“SIWON WHAT? HYU-”

Minho quickly jumped on the black haired, using his hand to press his mouth shut. Jisung yelled some muffled profanities for Minho to let him go, but the latter refused to, not until he stopped making a fuss. “Shut up, Han! Are you ready to be quiet now?”

Jisung nodded again.

“I don't reply though, but she keeps on sending more messages.”

“You didn't block her number?”

“I forgot.”

Jisung crossed him arms, giving Minho a skeptical look. “No you didn't. You were waiting for her to text you again.”

Minho looked away in shame. Okay, maybe he wanted that. But she didn't, not when he was that desperate. “Not anymore,” he murmured.

The younger sigh, resting his chin on his palm. “What did she say?”

“That she wants to talk to me. Its insane.”

Jisung saw how conflicted Minho looked. Why did she have to surface again? Just when Minho was almost put together. Wait- should he even care this much about Siwon's return? He has a girlfriend now, he shouldn't give a shit. “Does Miso know about this?”

Minho cocked a brow at Jisung, visibly confused. Why should he tell Miso? Minho let out a dry humourless laugh. “No. Why?”

“Your girlfriend should know that your ex is back, you know? To avoid any confusion,” Jisung articulated, giving Minho an are you fucking serious right now look. That's what he should've done at first.

“Miso is not my-” Minho caught himself mid sentence, pressing his lips shut. Unfortunately, Jisung did hear enough to grow suspicious about what he was about to say. The silence that prevailed afterwards only worsen the situation.

“Hyung,” Jisung called, his voice weak and uncertain. “You lied to me?”

“About what?” Minho tried playing dumb. He stretched his hand to pull Jisung closer to him but the latter avoided his grasp, clearly looking hurt. “Jisu-”

“I gotta go, loads of homework!” Jisung grabbed his jacket off Minho's couch, flashing a weak smile at the older. He bowed slightly, before approaching the door, Ignoring Minho's calls for him to stop. He shut the door behind him, heading to the stairs. The black haired didn't feel comfortable taking the elevator and only did whenever Minho was with him.

“Sung, its not what you think,” Minho ran in front of him, spreading his arms apart to prevent Jisung from moving any further.

“I think its nothing, you know why?” Jisung sneered. “Because I'm just a dumb little kid you can lie to whenever you feel like. I need time alone, good night!”
