POV: Minho
I could tell something was wrong the entire commute home. It wasn't until a few minutes ago that anything really came to light.
On the way back Y/N was oddly quiet and calm. However, something in her eyes and the way she was breathing, moving, and looking at her surroundings told me she wasn't calm at all.
That started after I saw her mumble something while staring at a guy walking opposite us. I couldn't hear what she said and the others were too busy talking to notice. It must have been important though.
When we got home she went straight to her room. No sound, no 'I'm going to lay down', nothing. Just walked in and disappeared behind her door.
This would have been fine but she didn't come out when we called her for dinner. She's usually the first one there.
We collectively decided to give her space as we thought the day had just been tough.
But as I'm passing by her door in this moment I can't stay out of her way.
Her door is cracked open enough for me to see her bed.
She's sitting with her knees to her chest, rocking back and forth, muttering something, and hysterically crying.
I push her door open a little more making a creak. Stopping, I look at her and wait for her to look at me. She doesn't.
Continuing to open the door I walk in fully and approach her slowly.
"I want Channie"
That's all she's saying.
Staring into space, repeating that same phrase.
"Sweetheart, who's Channie?" I ask softly, sitting next to her on the edge of the bed.
She doesn't respond. In fact, she doesn't even react.
Thinking maybe she hasn't noticed me yet I gently place my hand on her back, "Y/N, love, who's Channie?"
Again, she doesn't respond nor react to my presence, question, or touch.
Okay this is not good.
"CHRIS!" I yell, knowing he's in his room.
I hear his door open quickly and see his frame appear in the doorway.
"What's wrong?" He asks, a concerned look on his face as he hurries into the room.
"I don't know, I found her like this. She keeps repeating 'I want Channie.' But the weird thing is she isn't reacting to anything. Not even my hand on her back" I explain, my worry shining through a bit.
He pauses. A strange look comes over him before he speaks, "Okay, it's alright. She's in shock. Probably having flashbacks" He says, replacing me beside her.
"Y/N, Munchkin" He calls to her, very gently shaking her to try and bring her out of this situation.
She doesn't respond, nor does she stop repeating her words; but she turns her head to look at him.
POV: Y/N
I'm slightly pulled from my trance by a familiar voice calling out to me.
I can't stop.
I can hear him. I heard Minho. But I can't stop.
"Munchkin, is Channie your brother?" Chris asks.
It takes all of my energy to shake my head yes. But I manage to.
"Did Channie leave when you were 16?" Chris questions, his voice hitching slightly.
This question makes something click in my mind and I stop repeating myself. I just stare at him.
