Escape (Minho x Reader)

Possible Inside Allies?

"Hey Minho.." I call to him softly, standing in his doorway with the door open just enough so he can see me.

He immediately perks up at my voice, looking at me and waving me in. I walk into his room, quietly closing the door behind me. Minho sits up on his bed, patting the spot next to him. I take his offer, sitting beside him messing with my fingers.

"Why aren't you asleep?" He asks, rightfully so because it is quite late.

"I can't, I'm too nervous for the mission tomorrow night" I answer, his tv displaying cute cat videos catching my attention.

"You'll do just fine, I promise" He assures, earning a simple hum from me in response.

A hand lightly touches my cheek, guiding my eyes away from the tv. I look at Minho, fatigue evident in both of us. The light from his tv shines on his eyes in such a way that makes it look like they hold the universe. His soft features bring me so much comfort.

"I mean it. You'll do great. I put you with Hyunjin for a reason; I'm not stupid" He assures me again, making sure I'm retaining his words.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath. When I open then I nod, still fixed on his beautiful face.

"Can I sleep with you? For some reason I just sleep better in your arms" I ask, that last part accidentally slipping out causing my face to blush slightly.

He smiles that adorable little smile, "absolutely you can."

I smile back, getting under the covers and cuddling into his side. His arms embracing me in a protective hold.

I listen to his heartbeat. Steady, repetitive, calming. His tv still playing cute cat videos, feeding wholesome images in my mind.

Before we know it we're both sound asleep.

*Time Skip: middle of mission*

"Everyone adjust your volume if you're doing alright" Seungmin says, doing the mid mission check like Felix usually does.

I lower and raise mine, keeping my eyes glued to the middle of the room.

Hyunjin and I decided to post in different places instead of together. I'm by the back exit behind storage boxes and under a folding table with an old dusty table cloth over it. Hyunjin is further left of me in the corner behind two rolling whiteboards with boxes and containers in front of them. There is a clear path between us just in case.

The yellowish light hanging in the middle of the room makes the two men under it all the more visible. They appear to have no clue we're here, nor that the place has been bugged. Just the way we wanted it.

"Why did we meet here again? We could have just met in the conference room" the guy in ripped baggy jeans and a black oversized hoodie says, annoyed.

We've discovered his name is Heeseung. He leads his sect in improving their skills.

"You and me both know that entire building is tapped. We'd be dead right now if we had this conversation there" the second guy says, his tone not reflecting his words as he sounds sweet.

His name is Jungwon. He's the leader of his sect. And a very fed up one at that.

"Yeah yeah, I'm just annoyed we're not with the others. I worry about them.." Heeseung says, holding his arms and looking down to his right.
