Chapter - 12

Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo entered inside Zhan's bedroom. Then they sat on the bed.

"I am sorry, Yibo. You have to face an unpleasant situation as soon as you enter this house." Zhan said and Yibo shook his head.

"Don't be sorry Zhan ge. It's me who should say sorry." Yibo said and lowered his head.

"I am sorry, Zhan ge." Yibo said in a low voice and Zhan frowned.

"Why are you saying sorry? You didn't do anything to say sorry." Zhan said and Yibo shook his head.

"I am sorry for arguing with your mom." Yibo said and Zhan sighed.

"Yibo, you didn't do anything wrong. My mom was the one who insulted your parents first. You just defend your parents." Zhan said and Yibo shook his head.

"It's not that." Yibo said and Zhan frowned.

"Then?" Zhan asked while raising his eyebrow.

"It sounded like you forced me to marry you while I also wanted to marry you." Yibo said and looked down.

Zhan smiled and cupped Yibo's face. He kissed Yibo's forehead and stared at Yibo.

"It's okay. I didn't mind. So, don't be sorry." Zhan said.

"But...." Yibo was about to protest but Zhan stopped him.

"I don't want to argue with you. I am very tired." Zhan said and Yibo nodded his head.

"Okay. Now go freshen up. You will feel good." Yibo said while caressing Zhan's cheek.

"You go." Zhan said and Yibo shook his head.

"No, you go. You said you are tired. I will go after you." Yibo said and Zhan nodded his head before going to the washroom to freshen up.

Yibo was sitting on the bed with a food tray in front of him while Zhan was sitting beside him and playing with his phone.

"Why are you not eating, Yibo?" Zhan asked as he glanced at Yibo.

"Won't you eat?" Yibo asked and Zhan shook his head.

"I am not hungry. Eat then we will sleep." Zhan said and turned his attention to the phone.

"Eat something, Zhan ge. Don't be upset anymore." Yibo said while tugging on Zhan's shirt.

"I am not upset. I just don't want to eat anything." Zhan said.

"If you won't eat then I won't eat too." Yibo said and pouted.

"Yibo, don't be stubborn. Eat quickly." Zhan said.

"I won't." Yibo said stubbornly.

"Yibo, don't irritate me and finish your dinner." Zhan said coldly and Yibo's eyes became teary.

Yibo was hurt by Zhan's words. He just didn't want Zhan to sleep with empty stomach. But he didn't expect Zhan to react like that.

"I... I am... Sorry." Yibo said in a broken voice and looked down to control his tears.

After hearing Yibo's broken voice, Zhan felt guilty. He didn't mean to hurt Yibo. He was just disturbed by his mother's incident and now Yibo's nagging irritated him.

Zhan stared at Yibo who was just looking down while tears were rolling down from his eyes. Zhan sighed and took Yibo on his lap.

"I am sorry, Yibo. Please don't cry." Zhan said while wiping Yibo's tears.
