Chapter 4

All because of you

"What was the meaning of this" chief asked looking at our black eyes and busted lip and little bit of blood running down my nose. "Sir I don't know but she just attacked me"she darted but paused starting to cry. "I t-thought we were friends" she said fake crying as I roll my eyes. "Are you really going to believe this bullshit" I said slamming my hands onto the desk making a loud thud. "L/n I don't know what has gotten into you but your behavior is not okay" chief said looking into my eyes."Well it is all because Vanessa is being a total bitch and you're not going to do anything about it" I said pushing Vanessa and she falls to the floor. "SEE THE WAY SHE TREATS ME" Vanessa says. "Oh shut the fuck up you're just mad because you're lonely and you have no family" I said not thinking . I hear Vanessa pause then begin to actually cry. "Vanessa I'm sorry" I said getting closer to her.

"Back away you've done enough badge and gun NOW" chief said yelling at me. "W-what chief no please" I said on the verge of tears. "NOW L/N" chief yelled. I jumped and reach for it but pause. "Chief I ca-" I start but he finished by slamming his hands on the desk making me jump again I look at Vanessa and she's smiling. You bitch. "Chief please I didn't work this hard to be fired please if you going to fire someone fire Vanessa" i said pleading. "L/n give me your badge and gun and get THE FUCK OUT OF MY OFFICE" he yelled. I grabbed my badge and gun and put it on the desk storming out of his office. Why would she do that? She's SUCH A BITCH!

Time skip

I got my things in a box and head out side I see Miguel still there but by my car. "What do you want now" I asked him. "I have a plan but you're just going to have to trust me on this okay" he said "I don't know did Vanessa put you up to this" I asked shoving a little so I can open my car door. "No she didn't but I want to help" he said. "Fine get in" I said as he got into the passenger side.

What we know

"I'm going to tell chief I quit if you are fired" he said looking at me. "WHAT NO" I said looking at him than back at the road. "If you're not there I don't want to be stuck with Vanessa" he said making me laugh him joining me. "Look I know something that can get her into deep shit" he said serious again. "Are you going to tell me" I asked. "She knows something about the children that went missing in the 80s" he said making me slam on the brakes and look at him. "Hold on" I go to the side of the road put my hazards on putting it in park. "What do you know" I asked looking at him. And he just smiles.

"I have a feeling her dad is still alive and knows something about it there's no way she would volunteer to go to a creepy ass place to see how a night guard is doing there's something more to it" he said. "Yeah your right unless if she just wants to get with my boyfriend" I said looking at him and then at a Polaroid picture of mike, abby and I. Mike is kissing my cheek and abby is on my shoulders kissing my head. Written on the bottom is my fav people.

"I also think it's suspicious on how she knew where the first aid kit was even though she has never worked there or hasn't been there since she was a kid" I said looking at him. "We need to get to the bottom of this and figure out if she's a good guy or bad guy" Miguel said

Time skip

"Hey Mike" I said throwing my keys on the table. "Y/n where ha- WHAT HAPPENED" he yelled running over to me and touching my wounds. "Vanessa happened" I said laughing a little. "Let's get you cleaned up okay" he said still holding the sides of my face. "Yeah let's go" I said starting to walk to the bathroom "hey so I got fired" I said quietly. "That's alright baby we will find you a job life's going to get better for the both of us I know it" he said kissing me, me kissing him back. "I love you so much Y/n" he whispered his forehead on mine. "I love you too" I whispered. "I love you more" he said kissing me again.

"Miguel and I have a plan" I said starting to tell him our plan even what happened in the car and he forgave me he was mad but then we called Miguel and he told Mike what happened. "When do we start this" Mike asked. "Now" I said.
