Chapter 3

I woke up in the backseat of the car and my head in Rhea's lap, it was still muffled but i could make out another voice but also Rhea's voice.

" ELLIE, IDK WHAT TO DO. HELP"

" Rhea you have to calm down, she will be fine"

" She went unconscious and she lost a fair amount of blood, please do something"

" Rhea, listen to me, she isn't your problem, let's just put her in the hospital and then get you away from this okay? You have to leave her if you want her to be okay"

I saw Rhea look down at me and i smiled, " I'm fine, just take me home" I placed my hand onto her hand and closed my eyes.

2 days later...

It's been 2 days since the whole incident with Rhea, i haven't seen her since I blacked out last in her car. All I remember is her talking to some girl name ellie and then the next morning i woke up in my bed.

I hadn't seen Laila since we argued but i didn't care, she slapped me and then basically insulted me all because of Rhea. She isn't even an important factor in my life, there is no need for drama.

I sat down on the couch and closed my eyes putting in my airpods letting the song, " Slow Down by Chase Atlantic play in my ears.

I let small whispers fall from my lips, i sat up annoyed.. Even though I'm home alone my mind was stuck on Rhea. I hadn't seen her in my dreams and I was starting to worry.

I walked upstairs to Laila's room and there was a crack in the door, I peeked inside, even though I knew she wasn't here. I wanted to make sure the coast was clear.

I walked inside and closed the door, Laila's room wasn't anything like mine. She had pictures of her and her " friends " posted everywhere. I looked at her dresser and saw a picture of her, Dom, Rhea, and a girl. They signed their names at the bottom of the picture and hers said " El"

I took the picture and put it into my pocket, i finished looking around when I saw Laila had left her ipad there. Now under any other circumstances I would never go through her things but...

DD.

Dom: Hey where are you?

Laila: i just picked up Rhea from Ellie's house, where are you

Dom: baseball park, i'll meet you guys here

Not going there but I can go to Ellie's... I scroll down and find Rhea's messages and take a picture of the address. I also took a picture of Rhea's phone number, just in case. I was never gonna use it but it was good to have it i guess.

I clicked her ipad off once I heard movement from downstairs and left her room. As i was in the hallway i heard Rhea and Laila downstairs talking,

Laila: Soooo.. You and Eden?

Rhea: What about us?

Laila: Are you sure you want to date Eden? I mean i get that she's pretty but you're rhea you could have anyone you want

Rhea: I don't see how who im dating is any of your business and im not dating Eden

Laila: I'm just saying why settle for Eden when you have options

Rhea: My best friend is fucking one of the options that throws herself at me

Laila: you , me , and dom would have so much fun.. Come on

Rhea: No thank you, i don't share

Laila: fine.

I heard Rhea laugh as Laila scoffed and made her way upstairs, she saw me standing at the top of the staircase, " how long have you been awake?"
