Chapter 9

" no thats not you, that's just someone who looks like you."

I looked at him, " okay why the fuck does she look like me" " that's what we're trying to figure out."

I looked back at Dom who looked just as clueless, he wrapped his arms around me, " from any of your memories that you got back... do you remember her."

I haven't thought about those memories I got back, I try not to because everytime I do, I think of Finn and Dom taking them away from me. I let out a deep sigh, " no , I can try to look"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and laid back onto Dom, I let my body relax... I didn't know what I was doing but I was trying to remember. The only thing I saw when I closed my eyes were purple eyes..

* inside Eden's mind *

I walked around carefully but the only thing I could see was a pair of purple eyes. " Rhea I know it's you." She appeared out of nowhere.

" well look at you."

" well look at me."

She stepped towards me and stood in front of me, " I thought I'd never see you again."

" you're only seeing me because you're thinking of me."

" oh Eden, im always thinking of you." " cut the crap Rhea , who's the girl you're with that looks like me."

She smiled and sat down in criss cross, " wouldn't you like to know."

I jumped onto her pinning her down, " Tell me."

She flipped us and looked me up and down, " I'm always on top but since you would like to know, I don't know her. I just happen to be fucking her."

I pushed her off me, " fuck you."

" jealous?"

" no." I lie

" whatever , don't worry about me Eden. Go live your human life." She says walking away from me back into the shadows but before she goes I say something to make her stop

" I won't be human for long." She stops and turns back to me, " what?"

" I'm gonna become a vampire, I want to be like the others." " no you can't."

" it's not your choice it's mine and Finn and Damien are already here and their gonna help me."

Before she said anything else she latched onto my neck and bit me. I tried to push her off me but her grip was too strong, she held me there and whispered in my ear as my blood dripped from her lips, " tell them try it."

* OUTSIDE *

My eyes shot open as Dom stuck bit into his arm and stuck it toward my mouth. He had me drink his blood and I touched my neck, fresh bite marks

He looked at me, " are you okay?" " yeah that was Rhea."

" we know, you were talking out loud.. now we just wait for her to get here"

" how will she know where to come?"

I paused, " Ellie."

I picked up my phone and called Ellie but got no answer, she usually answers.

" Rhea won't go to Ellie she knows that Ells won't tell her plus they had a disagreement."

" about?"

" Rhea has no humanity .. so she's capable of anything at the moment because she can't feel anything. That's why Dom just gave you his blood because if she comes here and tries to kill you ... Atleast you're prepared to wake back up."

I nodded and looked at them, " there are extra rooms down the hall... if you guys want to stay.. I need to go.. lay down"

I walk back into my bedroom and walk into the bathroom and run some water splashing it across my face. How did I end up in this situation..

* FLASHBACK 2 years ago *

CAFE DE LA VITA

I walk into the cafe and smile, I'm greeted with smiles from the employees. Everything is so nice and I take a seat in the back.

I'm just reading a book when a boy slides into the seat in front of me. I don't pay him any attention not because I'm rude but maybe because he doesn't see me.

obviously he did though but I'll pretend .

" I'm Dom." I look up at him and he smiles, " and you are?"

" Eden, nice to meet you"

" pretty name .. do you hang out here a lot ?"

" sometimes." He looks at my book & I close it sitting it down on my lap, " you like wizardry?"

" no it's silly you probably wouldn't understand."

" try me." He smiled eagerly, I found myself explaining to this stranger about how I think I have magical powers because sometimes I can do things no normal human can.  I've seen literal fire come out of my hands & that scares me

" you must think I'm crazy .." " actually I think you're not crazy.. sometimes I think I'm a vampire."

" now you're just poking fun."
He placed his hand on top of mine & smiled showing me his fangs, " our little secret."

* PRESENT *

I shook my head & looked down at my hands, it's been awhile since I tried to do anything or even bring attention to that. I kinda put it to the side once I met Dom..

I closed my eyes & let out a sigh & open my eyes to see a pink glowing flame coming from my hands, what the hell is this..

I shook the flame away & looked at myself in the mirror, what am I?...
